We had so much fun during our weekend getaway at your cabin. What a great little community and beautiful area! We even got to hike Belknap Mountain (Mt. Major trail was slammed with too many hikers for us) and discovered what a great trail that is. The cabin was perfect, and the woodstove kept us nice and toasty, even when it was quite chilly outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this quiet camp near Webster Lake in late July. It's a great central location to see New Hampshire and Vermont, and was stocked with everything we needed. We arrived from a flight into Boston, so we found nearby Hannaford groceries and Belknap Mall to stock the fridge and make up for what we couldn't carry on the plane. We stayed in a modern hotel after leaving Franklin and were sorry we hadn't extended our stay at this cozy cottage instead.

We made it home but none of us wanted to leave! We had a great time at the cottage and I couldn't believe how quiet, clean, and peaceful the lake was! We were very surprised that there wasn't more people there swimming and fishing. We did the dinner and a movie thing and absolutely loved that as well!! Thanks for everything.

We had a WONDERFUL time. The weather was great. The lake was just great not too deep for the kids so I didn't have to worry about them. We did some fishing and swimming and my daugther beat me at reading. She finished her book first. All and all it was perfect and we'd like to return again next year. Also I forgot to mention how beautiful the sunsets were over the lake...Absolutely breath taking. I'll be in touch in January for our next vacation Pauline

This is a great cottage! very private and quite. Short walk to the dock where our kids swam and fished daily. The dock area is pretty shallow and very kid friendly. Close to alot of attractions. We visited Ruggles Mine, Polar Caves, and the Planetatium. We will be back next year!

This was a wonderful place for the two of us and our young active dog...a great big yard and lots of trees...private as can be and a short walk to the lake. You can see the lake from the screened porch. The place is very comfortable and away from the tourist crowds. Within a 45 minute drive to the mountain region where we went hiking every day of our stay. Thanks |

We stayed at this cottage in mid-August. We were very pleasantly surprised at how peaceful the lake was - most of the boats were wind or human-powered, with only the very occasional jet-ski. In our experience, fishing was fun for kids. Swimming is very safe. On a couple of calm days the surface was literally a mirror. The cottage was quiet, comfortable, & has a large yard to run around in. it's about a minute's walk to the private jetty. The owner responded to our questions quickly, & gave us good advice about the area.

I want to thank you for the cottage-you were right about the Pines and the area is absolutely beautiful-we spent 99% of our time in the water or on our boat. We did take one day trip to Ruggles Mine where the boys had fun hammering away for gems. There were a lot of firsts there-my granddaughter has autistic tendencies and she was talking and swimming up a storm and even felt secure enough to ride in the boat-the youngest grandson overcame his fear of water and ended up learning how to swim he also became an expert at riding his bike. The oldest grandson learned that winning wasn't everything-having a good time playing board games was more important-we took walks every evening-played games at night and we all read at least one book while we were there-all in all I have to say we had one fantastic time and this vacation did exactly what we wanted-built a lasting memory for our children and grandchildren that no one will ever forget-thank you again for a wonderful week at the Lake...
