Wow!! what a great location and home for the money. In this economy it's nice to find a bargain for the family vacation. For the price I was worried it was too good to be true but the home is well kept and very nicely furnished. Not the Trump Tower but very attractive and comfortable.
We parked our car in the home's free garage, walked to the train station to get everywhere and saved on valet/parking charges. I've traveled with my family all over the country using VRBO and this is one of the best big city values I've ever seen. You are right in the city but it's also a friendly neighborhood with parks and churches. Best of both worlds.
We spent our two week summer vacation here and enjoyed going to see the Chicago Cubs, The Adler Planetarium, Blue Man Group, Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue, American Girl, Sears Tower, Great Restaurants, Lake Michigan....LOVED IT ALL!
The kids enjoyed getting out in the enclosed big back yard...running around, playing soccer and helping Dad at the BBQ grill.
if we had been trapped in a small hotel room for two weeks bad things would have happened :)
Thank you we will be back!!

| My family had a wonderful time here during a week's vacation to Chicago last summer. Everything went well and we appreciated the value! Lots of space to spread out...big back yard perfect for our golden retriever and BBQ cookouts. We saw the Cubs play (twice!) went to Michigan Avenue for shopping, Navy Pier, Art Museum was fantastic, ate WAY TOO MUCH pizza!!! |
