| I agree with all the glowing comments posted by others. The home is very large and well appointed. There's no air conditioning, but even though the temperature was in the lower 90s in valley during our stay, it never rose above 78 F at the house, and there are refreshing ceiling fans everywhere. Although Wintergreen is large, you are never more than 5-10 minutes drive from anywhere. The WiFi worked perfectly and we liked the digital door locks - never had to worry about bringing or losing housekeys. There is no garage, but there is secure a garage-sized storage area adjacent to the driveway where you can store your bikes, skis and other large equipment. The owner is extremely responsive to all inquiries. We would not hesitate to return or recommend this house to others. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. |

| I can't say enough about this house - simply amazing. Big enough for our large group to stay comfortably. Everything you could want is included with the house. Nice deck and grill to entertain guests. Comfortable beds.. centrally located. |

Visited this rental on the weekend of March 21st, 2009 and what a great time! The house is great, sleeps 10 easily, five full sized bedrooms, a HUGE kitchen, great grill outside, comfortable family room with fireplace and flat screen tv, great dining area with room for our entire group! Cannot say enough about the property and how great it was!
Owners are very hospitable, friendly and easy to reach. All emails or phone calls were promptly returned, and overall made the process much easier on me, a first-timer! Will definitely be back next ski season and looking forward to it! |

Thank you for such a smooth and helpful rental process. The house was absolutely wonderful -- equiped with everything we could possibly need for our family Thanksgiving dinner and celebration! The furnishings were comfortable, the fireplace (and free wood!) warm and inviting, the views gorgeous, and your directions and recommendations perfect. We've stayed in several vacation homes, and this one was by far tops! We also appreciated your flexibility with our dates, and the extra effort to have the heat and hot water ready upon our arrival. We'll always have great memories of our family putting together puzzles at the large table, toasting by the fireplace, and watching old movies on the big TV. Thanks again, and we hope to come back to the Mountain House soon!

| This is truly a wonderful place to "get away from it all" and enjoy some quiet solitude with your family. It seems too good to be true, but for once what you see IS what you get and it is perfect. Don't hesitate to believe this one! We are so grateful to the owners for providing such a "good deal" both for the money and for the exceptional space! |

This is by far the best house we have ever rented.
The owners are congenial and thoughtful, and the
house is well appointed and maintained. It is in a
very convenient area of the mountain, close to the
lodge and store, but part of a quiet neighborhood.
Our stay could not have been any nicer. We
definitely plan to return! |

| I had been to WIntergreen before, for one of their night ski events, but never stayed the night. A group of girl friends and I went and stayed the weekend, it was beautiful. The house was immaculate. There was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably and prepare large meals, where everyone could sit at the large dining table and eat together. We spent most of out time sitting on the large back porch, enjoying the Wintergreen Vineyard's wines, and the mountain air. We had a wonderful time. The house is very close to a great country store which provides movie rentals, wines, and a small bistro. We had a great time, and we are sure to return very soon. |

The house was warm and welcoming! I enjoyed the weekend get-a-way with the girls. We spent a majority of our time on the deck enjoying the beautiful mountain and gorgeous weather.
I would recommend visiting Wintergreen Resort if you want to get away from the busy day to day schedule of life.

The house was beautiful, it had everything we needed (especially in the kitchen.)
We found board games in the closet and had fun with those in front of the fire.
The deck was perfect! Even though it was chilly at night we sat out there with jackets on.
The bedroom areas can be closed off from the rest of the house which made it enjoyable for those who stayed up late and those who went to bed early.
The store was close, the dumpsters were close, the driveway accommodated all of our cars and the owners are very friendly! We couldn't have asked for it to be better! |

Beautiful house! We have stayed in almost everything Wintergreen has to offer and by far we loved your house the best. The house had everything you could possibly think of and in very good condition. Kids (8 & 2) had lot of fun sleeping in the bunk beds and were truly amazed to find toys, movies, books for their age. My husband was very happy with Wi-Fi connection, in fact he said that it was much better than our house here. We just got back from out week long stay, and are already planning for another visit.
Overall, starting from renting till we mailed our keys, everything was a very pleasant experience. |
