Our mountain weekend was just perfect. We really enjoyed your lovely home and it was laid out just great for our family. It was our grand daughter's first Easter and we were able to get some great photos in the rocking chair downstairs. We enjoyed the hikes to the creek, the views, the swing – just everything. What an awsome family vacation we had. Your house was amazing. Plenty of space and what a gorgeous view! We loved your wrap around proch with the rocking chairs … and the fireplace worked great and felt wonderful on those cool evenings. We liked being tucked away in the mountains yet close enough to Black Mountain and other sights. The Green Light Café was a great place for lunch and the Cellar Door was amazing for lunch or dinner. Thank you so much for hospitality and opening your home to us. We enjoyed the bottle of wine you left. We will definitely come back!

Thanks for a lovely stay.Through the week, we watched the leaves change and begin to fall on our last day. Loved being in the hot tub at night under a star-filled sky. Recommendations: to eat, My Fathers’s Pizza and Black Mountain Bistro in town. Cradel of Forestry near Mt. Pisgah was teriffic for the kids! Health Adventure and Earth Science Museaum at Pack Place were wonderful surprises. The home is lovely and has all the amenities.

Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us. It is well layed out and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the view. It did rain and we got to observe the “rain-chains” from the gutters. We enjoyed the golf and were pleasently surprised that a town this small had such good restaurants.

We were here mainly to ride bikes. We loved the view from the Jacuzzi (essential after 5 hours a day in the saddle). We rode our bikes to Mt. Mitchell as well as on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also road our moutain bikes at Tsalli, Bent Creek as well as on Black Mountain. Great place! Great Trip!
