| Our stay at The Nut was fantastic. We had a great time hiking, biking, hanging out on the deck, and relaxing in the hot tub... all with beautiful weather! It was difficult to leave. Jo - thank you for making everything so easy and accommodating. |

| Oh my! what a beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. We stayed for the weekend of JMU graduation and the week following. It was not too far to travel back and forth from downtown. The highlight of the stay was coming home one night to be greeted by three deer on the front porch, munching away on the bushes. The hot tub was DIVINE! Have made reservations to go back for a couple of days next month...LOVED IT!! |

Comment Text: We had a lovely time in your home. It provided a much needed break for my husband and I during Easter break. My daughter's in-laws joined us and it was our first trip together. It was also special in that we are going to be first-time grandparents in October. In addition, I went horseback riding for the first time as well as a golf lesson. So a very nice short but good getaway! Your home was very comfortable, quiet and we appreciated on the special notes and instructions on various things from how to operate something to the best place to eat. However, I have to say we preferred relaxing at your home and using the hot tub. The hot tub was fantastic!

| We stayed March 11-13, 2009, with two of our grandchildren - boys ages 9 and 7. We were only 4 minutes from the ski lodge. We loved the house - and the boys especially loved the hot tub after a day at ski school. Beds were very comfortable and the house was spotless. |

| We had a great scrapbooking weekend in this lovely home. Everything we needed was there, comfortable and impeccably maintained. The 75 degree weather was a bonus! Jo was great to work with and truly makes renting a pleasure. |

| We had a wonderful visit in your lovely home! It was perfect for our two families - close to the ski lodge, snow tubing, and waterpark (all of which we enjoyed!). We went hiking in the woods behind the house down to the ski lodge, where there's a magnificent view of the ski slopes - it was really pretty. The kids loved rolling down the "hills" on the green, and when it snowed one day we found a great hill to sled down. Jo was very flexible and helpful with us - we all appreciated it greatly. We hope to come back someday for another relaxing visit! |

This is a great cabin in a wonderful resort. Loved the windows looking out at the woods and stream. We saw deer running through the snow on Sunday morning.
Very close to the ski area. All supplies in the kitchen, bath and bedrooms that we had forgotten. Fun decor. Fun place.

| The house was very clean with comfortable beds and nice furniture. The house also has a beautiful little stream that the kids loved playing by. There are two nice living areas - one for conversation and one with a tv. |

| My friends and I were very pleased with the accommodations at The Nut. The four of us met from different parts of the country, and your house was the perfect spot for our reunion. The setting was gorgeous, especially with the changing leaves, and everyone was so comfortable, we hated to leave. We intend to come back another time. | We had a wonderful stay this summer. Plenty to do for all ages, grandchildren loved the waterpark. When you sit in the living room you feel as if you are in a 'tree house'. Just the two of us half of the week, enjoyed hiking and the cozy quiet in the cabin. Haven't been as relaxed since! Very clean hot tub. |

| My family used this house during JMU graduation weekend. SO MUCH BETTER than renting an overpriced hotel near the University Campus, plus you get all the amenities of a house. Extremely well maintained home with beautiful views of the creek outback of the property. My family loved the hot tub and the house was also perfect for making a celebration dinner. Would recommend this home to anyone. |

| A very nice house in a spectacular setting- mature woods secluding the house from surrounding properties, with a babbling brook in the back. Very quiet and peaceful. The decor was way above typical rental houses: thoughtful and well put together, not the usual random assortment of second hand stuff. Nice assortment of amenities in the house, making the whole experience have the advantages of a home away from home. |

There is the obvious: cozy cabin, wonderful hot tub, gorgeous setting, lots do do. But being a veteran of vacation home rental usage, I would like to comment on the items that further separate this from other properties, and they rest squarely in the owner's attention to details. Whether it be the fun decor, well-appointed kitchen stocked with the basics, the home being immaculately clean with everything working as it should, and excellent pre-stay communication from the owner, there is a pride of ownership and desire to have a happy guest that one does not always find in a property that could trade on its views and location alone.
I cannot recommend this home enough. |

The hot tub is definitely a big plus and so is the cable TV and high speed Internet access which was installed while we were vacationing there.
