Walhall was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy spending time together. We loved watching sunsets over the lake, listening to the loons, feeding the friendly chipmunks, roasting hotdogs and s’mores in the fire pit and swimming in Lake Clitherall. We appreciate all of the time and care that has been invested to make Walhall an inviting vacation home. It was great to meet Kurt and to have a chance to visit with old friends in the area. We thought Walhall was lovely. Great pictures on the walls. Thanks for the flowers greeting us in the breezeway. I took many pics of the beautiful sunsets - we had awesome weather. we swam a lot and loved the lake it is so clear and no weeds off the dock. We were out in our pontoon everyday exploring a new part of the lake. Battle Lake is close by and lots of other places to go. Very Peaceful. Great fire pit and deck.

The month went by too quickly - The cabin worked very well. Loved the Otters loons chipmunks, woodchuck black mink and fishing from the dock. We had many fires, trips to town for ice cream, donuts from the bakery.
A very enjoyable stay.

We are very fortunate that you have this retreat available for us to enjoy at the lake. We have rented cabins in the past and yours has everything a family would want for as great week at the lake. We enjoyed the lake and campfires at night. It has such peaceful surroundings and we are sure all will enjoy as we did here at Walhall!

Your cabin is a wonderful place for a peaceful getaway -- even with the kids! Clitherall Lake is one of the cleanest lakes we have ever seen! All the personal touches (ketchup, mustard, soaps, etc.) are really great for quick stays! Very clean too! It was a wonderful time and we hope to visit again soon! Maybe for some cross-country skiing in the winter.

This cabin is great – a very peaceful place to spend a family vacation. Highlights consisted of fishing off the dock with the kids, the campfires at night where we ate plenty of s’mores. Going into Battle Lake and swimming at the beach. Playing putt-putt golf and stopping at Grannys Pantry for a cone or dish of ice cream. It is just a great place to kick back and forget about all the stress life can produce. A special thanks to Kurt, Jacki, Scott & Terri for supporting a soldier returning from a tour of duty in Iraq. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and it makes me proud to serve for people like you.
