Rolf and Susan,
Wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed staying there. The color of the leaves was spectacular. The weather was perfect and the wood stove was an added plus for the evenings (although we never did need to turn the regular house heat on). Thanks for having it burning to welcome us. That and the bread, strawberries and cider waiting for us were all nice touches.
We enjoyed your suggestion of going to Bob's Country Kitchen not just once, but twice during our four days. We would have gone again, but would have felt guilty about buying food at the grocery store and not using it. There were a few other eating places we wished we would have had time to go to, but we'll have to stay again to hit those. You may want to mention that the mall and movie theatre are only 10 minutes away and the Norman Rockwell Museum is about a half hour away. We wish you the best and hope that people make reservations before you realize how inexpensive it was to stay there and before you add a required cleaning fee like everyone else has.

| We ABSOLUTELY enjoyed staying in your Cheshire guesthouse last weekend and can't wait until we're available for another weekend to visit you. There was plenty of room for two couples, and we fully utilized the kitchen for breakfasts; BUT best of all was the availabilty of your four bikes so that we could ride the nearby rail trail -- it was fantastic scenery. It also has to be mentioned that you are conveniently located to such cultural places as the newly renovated Colonial Theater in Pittsfield, Tanglewood and Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, and the Williamstown Theater Festival. It was possible for us to go to 3 out of the 4 listed above! |
