| We stayed for five wonderful days in November 2008, and took advantage of the amenities that this rental has to offer. It was so lovely to have our own pool and hot tub, and to be able to make our own meals. With the beach gear we were able to try body boarding and snorkeling. Only wish we could've stayed longer. |

This is our first time to the Big Island so we planned to spend 5 days to see most of the Kona side. Patricks Ohana served our needs and wants very well. The pool and bar-b-que really made the evening. We had the added good fortune to sample some fresh smoked Marlin, (fresh caught), and had our own meal of gifted Ono. It is added enjoyment to learn of Patricks talents with Koa wood and see the results. If we are to return we would do so when this ohana was available. We also had the enjoyment of a small Gecko visit and sleep on the phone transformer. My wife and I agree, this was a successful vacation.

Very Clean! We rented it because of Hot Tub& Pool. Hot tub was neither working nor was attempted to be fixed at anytime during our 2 week stay. Owner Stated electricity was very expensive.
Was in a desirable neighborhood and street, we mistakenly thought this was a private house not a guest casita. The owners live upstairs and rise early and you can hear them walking around.
The owners kept to themselves and would easily assist you with any problems. We felt like all items were very secure. We received our security deposit two weeks after the 30 days of departure.
Place was a good deal for the price. Boogie boards, umbrellas & beach coolers were great. BYO Beach Towels.
Personally we would have preferred air conditioning. Would not recommend this place if you have asthma or a breathing condition.

| We absolutely loved this place! It was very quiet, had all the accommodations one would want. Paka was very informative and helpful. He also makes beautiful Koa woodwork (we bought a piece it was so nice!). The pool was great and secluded. We could walk to beautiful beaches, and it is just minutes from Kona (one of the best towns on the island in our opinion). If we ever come back to Kona, we would definitely stay here again-also a great price! Thank you, Paka! |

| This is a great place to stay for anyone with pets or wanting to get away from the hotel scene. Pat was very accommodating to our last minute reservations. Mahalo! |

This was a wonderful, quiet sanctuary that gave us privacy and seclusion while being close to everything. |

3 beautiful relaxing weeks at this place of refuge for chilly Canadians. Perfect location with morning 100% Kona Coffee (+ Baileys) on the lanai - wow what a way to start the day!! Sydney the resident bird greeted us whenever we were at the pool and I enjoyed responding to his cheers with "Charge"! We easily walked to the 2 closest beaches with our gear and would often head down to White Sands at night for the spectacular sunsets. Our hosts made us feel as if it was our own place and didn't even know they were there. The surrounding neighbours were friendly and we felt as if we were locals. We look forward to our next getaway at this Ohana's residence!!!

I stayed in Mr. and Mrs. Dowd's "ohana" and it was a pure delight. We had our own swimming pool that we really enjoyed. The deck was equipped with a gas BBQ. The "Ohaha" was very clean and comfortable. I don't believe I have ever slept so well. It was our own little slice of Heaven in Paradise. Thank you so much. |
