We rented the house in July with three other couples. The house was very clean and well kept. Plus it was such a treat to be able to bring our puppies along for the week.
We are definitely looking forwrad to return soon! |

| This is the second September our family got together to appreciate quality time together. What a great time of year to get some golf in. We really enjoyed bonding with our grandaughter (7) who stayed with us. She was never bored with all the toys and games provided and even beat grandpa in "Connect Four" The clean spacious rooms and layout offered plenty of privacy. It was great being able to walk to the grocery store and town center. We hope to return sometime very soon! |

| The groomsmen and myself stayed in the Edgartown home for the week of my brother's wedding. What a great trip it was! I have visited the Vineyard many times and this was one of the best. Our son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons joined us for a delightful July week at Barbara’s house. The location was ideal, a pleasant stroll to downtown Edgartown. The house itself was pleasant, perfectly maintained and furnished with all the electronic and kitchen equipment imaginable. Our three generations found the location and the house an ideal way to enjoy a Martha’s Vineyard vacation.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Edgartown Cape in June. We have been making it a tradition every year to go to the Vineyard for our anniversary, but this was the first year to go since our daughter arrived! She is 16 months old and the house was great for her. Nice yard, basement full of toys, her own bedroom! We had some friends join us later in the week and the house accomodated everyone perfectly. The best part is the proximity to downtown Edgartown. Just a short stroll and you're there! we had perfect weather all week so we took a walk to town almost every day!

Three friends and I enjoyed Barbara's nicely appointed, well equiped home the first of May. At the end of the day, it was a wonderful haven in which to return..a book, a fire, a glass of wine and good friends. You could nestle in on a comfy sofa or there was plenty of room to be alone, if desired. The home, situated in a perfect location, had everything we needed.
Don't forget to visit the Alpaca Farm. Great shop, but the animals are wonderful. Barbara loves each and every one of them.
The is the house you have been searching for if you want to "make memories" on the Vineyard.

Perfect time of year to be on the Vineyard, early Fall. Not too crowded, crisp cool air, but plenty of sunshine to still enjoy the beautiful beaches. Superb restaurants still open. Shops too with BIG sales going on.
Thank you Barbara for an affordable week for Tim and I to relax by the fire, listen to MVY (my favorite radio station), cook up some delicious meals, play pool, and read a great book on the comfy couches.
Overall, the house provided everything we needed and more. The showers are long and hot, the beds are many and comfortable, the house in incredibly clean and neat. The location was perfect for our morning runs on the bike paths to Katama Beach or Barrier Beach.

We filled your house with love, laughter and fun. There was always a game going a the big table whenever we weren't out exploring the island. It was a great gathering place for board games, and card anytime of day for whoever wanted to play.

| My family stayed in this home during August 2007. We enjoyed our visit very much. The home's proximity to downtown Edgartown is terrific. There is plenty of space. The home is located on a quiet side street right off the main road into town. Great location if you want to be close to restaurants, shopping, etc. |

We had a lovely stay in your home in Edgartown! It is in a perfect location--close to towns and the beach. We especially enjoyed playing "chopsticks"--the only song we know--on the piano! Our visit to the farm was also a special treat--we had never seen an alpaca up close. They are very gentle creatures and it was a great learning experience.
Hoping to see you again--maybe next time in Italy!

Barbara, Thank you so much for our wonderful stay at your cape house in
Edgartown. It's beautiful, and big, and so close to everything! My Dad
liked it so much he wants to rent it again for my 40th. We cooked most
of our meals in the spacious kitchen and lounged on the deck. I really
appreciated all the periodicals and materials about the area, and the
board games! What a wonderful place Edgartown is, and all of Martha's
Vineyard. Just stunning. Thanks again; everything was great.

We were a group of friends from the college days getting together to bid farewell to yet another of our group getting married.
The house was perfect! Barb was more than accomodating and keeps the house in immaculate condition. Every pot, pan, dish, utensil, and kitchen gadget we could need was available.
Prime location! It was only a one to two block walk to three popular bus routes. 10 min walk to Edgartown. Supermarket and package (liquor) store was just one block away. Also within that radius was an ice-cream shop, bike rental, meat and fish markets.
In a nutshell - if I return, it's a repeat. |

Our family of six have just returned from a spring break at this house on Martha's Vineyard. The ages of the children ranged from 6 to 17 and it is usually so hard to find a holiday that they all get enjoyment from.
Martha's Vineyard and the Cape House were perfect! Part of the thrill was being in a different country doing 'normal family things' but with different food, games and of course T.V....oh, and the breakfast bar which was very appreciated by the children. Very relaxing after a hectic week in Boston with a week in New York ahead.
The beaches were lovely, especially the one by Edgartown lighthouse and one of the nicest mornings was one of the most unexpected - an hour at the Edgartown library! Beautiful building and lots to read (or surf).
The house was great, really well stocked and full of surprises - everyone loved the basement pinball machines and ball games. It was good to be able to walk to everything - local shops fulfilled all our needs and Edgartown itself a very manageable stroll for everyone.
Will definately be back for more! |

| We had a wonderful time at your Edgartown house! My family and I stayed there the week before my wedding, and it was all that we could ask for and more. It was perfect for me and my 4 bridesmaids to get ready in. I only regret we were too busy at the beach to enjoy the pinball machines and the pool table much! Thats for such a lovely vacation. |

She is an amazing hostess and her homes are beautifully furnished, comfortable and very well equipped. You'd be lucky to spend time on Martha's Vineyard in either of her homes.

The location couldn't have been better and the in home furnishing were very comfortable. We had a fairly large group but the house never felt too small. | I highly recommend this house to any large group!! Barbara was a gracious host that made the whole transaction a breeze!!! The house is large, nicely furnished, walking distance to beautiful downtown Edgartown, the supermarket, the ice cream parlor, the liquor store and for my husband, the tackle shop! (What more could we ask for)!! Our family reunion was very special...we celebrated our niece Chloes first birthday there, and my husband caught his record 44 inch striped bass!!! Thanks for the experience, the kids were much, much happier in the house then the hotels we've stayed in in the past!! We will definately be back every year! Thanks again Barbara!!! |

Walking distance to the church in downtown Edgartown, and set back in a quiet area. I would recommend the place to anyone looking to house a large group. |

| May 2004 was our fourth time staying at your beautiful house in Edgartown. We come back every year for a number of reasons. It is close to amazing beaches, awesome bike trails, beautiful hiking trails and the incredible town of Edgartown with all of it's restaurants, shops and history. We can bike or hike to all of these locations. Your house is always clean, and we love that it is filled with everything from restaurant menus to videos and pinball machines. It feels like our home away from home. We love the Vineyard and always discover something new each time we visit... whether it be by kayak or by car exploring . This was my 7 month old daughter's first visit to Marha's Vineyard and we look forward to bringing her back next year. |

| We had a reunion at the Cape and LOVED it! The house is gorgeous! Much bigger than it looks from the website. The back porch and large, open dining area were perfect for our BBQs, and town is just a few short blocks away. There were 7 of us, and we had room to spare. We can't say enough good things about this house -- it was everything we hoped for and more. We highly recommend the house, and working with Barbara, who makes the whole transaction easy. Thanks for a fantastic vacation! We hope to be back at the Vineyard soon, and wouldn't stay anywhere else! |

Travelling with 2 young children (ages 1 and 3) we were skeptical that this trip could become a "vacation". But your home did just this for us.
The location is ideal, a quiet street within a pleasant walking distance from downtown Edgartown and the waterfront. The property is well furnished for both adults and children (plenty of movies and games for all ages); my 3 year old awoke me each morning with "Dadda, can we go play with the balls, please?" - she was referring to the pinball machine.
It was a great vacation for us, and we intend to return. Thanks for sharing your house with us; we felt as though we were at home.

My family and I had a wonderful time in the Vineyard. Your home made it very special and memorable for all of us. Our 2 year old enjoyed exploring throughout the house. The house had all the essentials for little kids such as a High Chair, Baby Swing, and other favorable toys. The kitchen and eating area was a fun place for all us to spend time together while cooking meals and re-capping the days festivities. | The house was great and worked out perfectly for our large family. The pool table and video games were a big hit with the kids. Having bedrooms on each of the 3 floors made it very accessible for all ages (even our 89 year old grandma). Highly recommended for larger groups. |
