Excellent stay at this property for 2 adults. My husband and I combined business trip/pleasure and found the location easy to access 1/2 block from the Metro. Comfortable accommodations with split rooms for sleeping or watching TV. Comfortable mattress, easily accessible outlets and free WiFi. Victoria was a great host. Thanks, looking forward to our next trip.

We stayed for the week of June 3-10, 2009. The flat was convenient and very comfortable! Victoria is a gracious hostess, providing recommendations for good area eateries. We will be staying here again our next trip to DC!

My husband & I (ages 50 & 49) are both in good health and found this place to just perfect for us. We were there for 7 nights - it was our first time visiting DC. The unit was both clean & quite comfortable. Having a mini fridge and microwave oven in the unit was ideal for us. That way we could bring home any leftovers from restaurants that we ate at, store them safely, & then re-heat them again. Having free access to use the washer & dryer & wireless internet was also very beneficial for us. The unit's close proximity to the metro really put the icing on the cake. We didn't even have to rent a car. We took the metro to all the places we visited - very convenient! The unit is located in a safe neighborhood, filled with many good restaurants & misc. stores. The owner of the unit is very kind, gracious, & quite helpful. I highly recommend this place to people who don't have trouble climbing stairs.

We went to DC for Spring Break and had a wonderful time. We were so comfortable in the rooms and Victoria was a gracious host. Great location and a beautiful neighborhood. I felt safe to walk to the store by myself in the evening if I needed to. Always something going on and just a lot of fun. Thanks Victoria.

Stayed with Victoria in October for two weeks. Excellent location, 1 minute from metro, great local grocery shops, resturants and convenience stores. Rooms very clean, modern facilities and very quiet. We travelled into city everyday with a metro pass and were 10 minutes from DC main sites. Airport access very good. Travelling from Australia we felt very safe in the area, highly recommend Victoria's home.

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay in Washington, DC. Victoria's apartment was an incredibly convenient base for our family of four. The metro station is across the street! Target, CVS, Giant grocery store, and restaurants in the area were also helpful to have within a three-block radius. The apartment had all we needed - mini-kitchen in living area, clean bathroom, comfortable sleeper sofa for our two girls (ages 11 & 8) and a great bed for us. We were able to eat breakfast in, bring snacks along, eat a heavy lunch out, and then have a simple micro meal for dinner back at the apt. This saved our family a lot of $$. Use of the washer and dryer was also a much-appreciated plus! Victoria was a gracious host, answering any questions we had and sharing many tourist tips. The wireless internet connection she provided also helped us plan our day. This is a great, safe neighborhood and thanks again Victoria for a wonderful stay!

This was our first trip to DC and we loved taking the metro everywhere, so being 1/2 block away from it was great. We thought the location was fabulous, we felt safe, the place was clean, and the landlady helpful. Since we just made coffee in the morning, the kitchen was adequate for us. We would highly recommend this place.

As a young couple we can't imagine a better place for exploring the capital of the USA. The appartment itself has all you need to relax after a tiring day in the city. With two televisions, a large bed, a modern bathroom with shower and a soft couch, we were more than happy :-). Only if you want to cook a meal yourself like we wanted, the kitchen equipment falls a little short. The metro is at the end of the street and just around the corner you can find CVS, GIANT and some nice restaurants and bars. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. She looked up information on the internet for us and even let us use her phone for local calls. We'd highly recommend the place for young couples or just everyone who likes a nice place for their own, for a reasonable price. We loved to stay there, hope you will too some day!

Homeowner Response:
Thanks! I do like the idea of being comfortable for "young couples or just everyone else!" As for cooking - please do note the detailed information on the kitchenette which is provided in the property description.

Our first real vacation to D.C. and we could not have picked a better place to stay. Close to Metro station - just a 3-4 minute walk - and close to good places to eat and shop. Just two of us so we had plenty of room - fully furnished with everything you need and very comfortable for resting up for the next adventure. Landlady was very nice and usually home to ask questions and give advice. Neighborhood was quite nice and we never had any safety / security concerns. We would very highly recommend you give this place serious consideration if going to D.C. For us, it was just about perfect.
