| My girlfriend and I rented the Wilderness Cottage for a night last weekend. It was very nice, well maintained and we hope to go back again soon. Michael was very friendly and informative. Great place to stay to get away from the city. |

| This is the second time we have stayed in one of Michael's rentals. Both times it has been a positive experience. The cabin was clean and cozy. This is a yearly trip for my girlfriend and I and we will continue to rent a cabin from Michael each time we go to evergreen because we know we can expect a warm and coxy place to step into. Thank you for your hospitality Michael. |

| We had a great time. For a family of 5 there was enough room for all of us. The kids had a great time playing outside and wathcing the wildlife. We look forward to coming back sometime in the future. |

| We recently stayed at the Wilderness Cottage for a 3-day weekend. The experience was wonderful. The weather was overcast and rainy but we were cozy in front of the fireplace, listening to music, watching movies or dancing in the kitchen (and even in the rain one evening). The cabin was clean, VERY well stocked with everything you could need (Michael is exactly right when he says all you need do is bring food)has great atmosphere and an all around delight. We very much enjoyed meeting Michael who made sure we were comfortably settled in and wanted for nothing. We will definitely return! |

| My mother, my sister and I stayed a week at the Wilderness Cottage in early May. As everyone else has said, it is a charming little place with everything you need for comfort and privacy. We got a 3 inch snowfall the second day we were there and the place was indeed beautiful, warm and cozy, just like the pictures suggest. The rest of the week we had beautiful sunrises, and as Michael says, every one of them is different. Michael was a gracious host, allowing us to use the wi-fi hook-up at his place, within walking distance, whenever we needed it. And he gave us helpful suggestions for places to go and things to do (horseback riding and trails in the area to hike, etc.) as well as driving directions to other areas. We would love to return. We highly recommend this home-away-from-home if you are looking for a place to stay near Evergreen. |

Very nice clean cabin, we really enjoyed staying there. Bed was very comfortable and the water was hot. We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife from the deck , lots of mule deer-big and little, red fox, maybe a wild cat . We did see an all Black Fox with a white tail a couple times in the woods below the deck also walking along down the road toward the writers nest cabin. That is a very rare site! A very nice experience in our travels of places we have stayed. If you like the mountains, you will like anyone of these cabins. Sherry and Greg

We've just come home from staying in the Wilderness Cottage for the weekend. As a previous guest stated in his comments above the pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is charming, rustic, and up to date all at the same time. Everything was spotless and it was so easy to just feel at home and unwind on the sunny deck. We found the town of Evergreen only about ten minutes down the mountain and had fun listening to the band and eating fish and chips at Captain Jacks. I think being deep in the woods at the top of the mountain was our favorite part. Listening to the breeze through the giant pine trees, lying in the sun, and watching the beautiful sunrise. And our special thanks to Michael, who graciously gave us a tour of his other cabins which were close by. Each one was unique and beautiful. We loved our stay and are already planning when we can go back and visit again. |

First of all, the directions Michael gave were amazing. Didn't get lost once! Upon arrival, the cottage was as quaint as I could imagine but the pictures don't do it justice! Bed was incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was filled with the most up to date ammenities! The sunrise view was spectacular and could not ask for a more amazing time! Thank you Michael for such a great experience! Regards, Dawn |

| We had a great time at this cottage. The pictures really did not do the place justice - it was actually bigger than the pictures suggest. The surrounding area was beautiful and secluded as the description states. Plus, the manager made sure we were taken care of each time we called. In all, it was a great stay & I can't wait to do it again. |
