Thank you for sharing all this beauty with Adam and I. Came up without the kids for a night & day of R&R. Played Monopoly and was murdered by Adam - only $6 to my name. Woke-up ate breakfast and decised to go four wheeling. Called Craig to see where the nearest gas station was - made a wrong turn and ended up driving 12 miles round trip on a four wheeler! NOT AGAIN!
Went fishing - Adam caught 4, Amanda 0.
Came back, cleaned up and went four wheeling SAFELY on a path. We had a blast. Thank you again :o)
Next time we will bring the kids. "Serenity Now!" No netter name for a place like thiss

Even the rainy day couldn't dampen our spirits. What a cozy and peaceful place - we hate to leave. Sunday December 21st came and brought sunshine and 30 degree temperatures. Finally we were able to really get out and hike. Buffett and Hollie (our retrievers) loved it here - we all hate to leave.

Well, what can I say, but I'm ready to return. This is our first time in the GA mountains and staying in a wonderful cabin, tucked in the mountains. Joe and myself and our Raymond enjoyed every minute. We had a couple of days of rain then some snow!! :o) We were able to hike some and enjoy our time together in this cozy cabin which felt "homey." We can't wait to return.

Surging sisters with adventurous spirits...
...Apple festival weekend in Ellijay, Harvest festival in Blue Ridge - fair amount of artists, bought bowls from the wood turners and homemade jelly. This may have been the first year for this effort at a festival, beautiful unique photography by Doc from Mineral Springs - Doxshots
...To Track Rock to see rock scratchings, little hard to find but got word from man at cabin village down the road, and it was a pretty valley drive with more leaf turning... Saw bear crossing road...
What? We have to leave? Had a week of beautiful weather, blue sky and some leaf color. Serenity Now is a perfect name and a wonderful escape from the frantic pace of Atlanta.
Great Fall Break, lovely setting and fantastic cabin, fun and relaxing. Love, love the screened porch - perfect! Thanks for letting us share a moment in your beautiful mountain retreat.

This cabin is awesome! It's cool that you have a flashlight in every bedside table! We loved the firepit! We went there every night. The dogs loved it as well... We went horseback riding up in Tennessee and hiking on your lot.
Overall it was a great trip!!;o)

We were incredibly surprised and pleased by how wonderful and unique the cabin is. After a last minute cancellation of a NC cabin, we found this in time for our anniversary weekend. It is hands down our favorite cabin from North Georgia to North carolina.
The fire circle is so much fun and the dogs loved the marshmellows and playing around the lean-to. Such a wonderful place you have created - we hope to return again soon.

Enjoyed a beautiful weekend at your cabin. We rode our four wheelers but getting the 16 ft trailer turned around was a 2 hour chore! (Note: not much room for Sequoia and Trailer...) We enjoyed the fireworks in Blue Ridge and even met up with some family that happened to be vacationing in McCaysville. Your place makes us want to leave the fast paced life in Clearwater, FL and move here. We ate at the Pink Pig, had a huge fire in the firepit and enjoyed perfect weather - mid 80's in the day, 60's at night. We saw a fox by the shed last night, he was so cute! We would love to come back sometime - without the trailer... Maybe in the fall when the leaves are changing.

The weekend was perfectly "Perfect!" The cabin is adorable - love it - absolutely the perfect weekend getaway. No need for TV, just great music, lots of wine, yummy smores, grilled food, parties with the neighbors, cruisin on the four wheeler and mostly the wonderful guy! ;o) Thank you so much! The only thing better would be to share it with the kids and to see the excitement on their little faces as they explore this beautiful place!

Taylor family weekend!! And our 2 dogs! Boy did we need this! First night we got in kind of late - Craig built a bon fire - kids roasted marshmellows - Craig and I shared drinks - Dogs are in heaven up here! Sat. was a day of fun for the kids and Craig. They rode the four wheelers all day after a big breakfast. I relaxed all day! We had steak dinner - the kitchen had everything we needed :o) Building another fire & gonna play Scattegories! This place is perfection!
Do we really have to go back? :o( Everything is so beautiful up here, no phones, no stress... Sitting in the rocking chairs listening to the birds sing - this is what life should always feel like!! TOTALLY at peace. We can't thank you enough! Craig and kids gone fishing... I think I'll go and enjoy a walk!!

Boys weekend!!
Rob's first time to the cabin. Had a HUGE bon fire Sat night that lasted forever. Rode the 3 4-wheelers all weekend around Rock Creek. Great riding! The blue one is really fast...
Have to convince Karen that we need to do this every month... hehehe

Richard, the (3) dogs and I came up for a LONG weekend, 12/21 - 12/26. It was cold and rainy and we watched/heard the giant pine tree in back fall down... Perfectly... Missing the Jeep, bird house, baby pines and shed by inches... Craig & Cherece joined us Sat & Sun and she had her first ride on a 4-wheeler! It was a good thing they were there so Richard had help cutting up the fallen pine tree...
Richard broke out in a horrible case of poison sumac that lasted 4+ days, bed ridden for 3!!
Cabin looks great, neighbors are good... Looking forward to next time!

Wow. It's been too long since we've been up here! Came up for some rest and ended up busting our behinds! Shatner dog came too for her first visit.
Did tons of trail maintenance & blew leaves. Cabin looks great!
Had drinks with Lin & Gerry. They've done such a great job keeping things nice. Don'y know what I'd do without them!
Was unseasonable warm! Had dinner on the porch - comfortable...

First night, very exciting. Thunder, lightening and lots of rain. We loved the quiet. We are city apartment dwellers. This is a lovely secluded property and the cabin is so nice and comfortable inside. I especially loved the espresso machine, may have to get one. We walked and walked and one of us ran each day.
The dogs, Murphy & Gwynnie, loved everything except the thunder.
We never left the cabin by car!
Oh... The people up here are awfully nice and friendly.
I read the "Haunted Ground" book. Good read. I also read a book about Abelard & Heloise that I will leave here for future readers. Poor Heloise, Abelard was a conceited but clever pig. He didn't deserve his awful punishment, though!
