Our visit to Estrella del Mar proved to be most relaxing—which is what we were looking for! The resort is away from the busy and noisy city yet offers many activities. You will not find beach peddlers and vendors, only an occasional other person roaming the 3 ½ mile beach.
The condo is well stocked and maintained. The kitchen has all the equipment and accessories to make your meals in if you wish, as well as a handy BBQ on the lanai. There are three flat screen TV’s (but who needs TV when you can listen to the waves crashing on the beach and watch the beautiful sunsets?) and a variety of games as well as an IPOD docking station with speakers. So, load your Latin/Mexican music onto your IPOD before leaving home and you’ll also have a great sound system.
There is high speed internet and a Vonage phone so if you need to conduct business you can still do so. Oh, even the pool area has wi-fi available!
The unit is well placed, no obstructions in the view and is located in phase 2, which is the newer of the buildings.
Parking is not a problem, there is parking right outside the unit as well as underground. Security at the resort seems to be tight and if you need a ride anywhere within the resort they are there to provide it to you.
I highly recommend this property and this unit. In fact, we booked a return stay before leaving from our first visit! If you are looking for privacy and a place to relax and not be bothered by the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place to be.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in
Mazatlan and Estrella del Mar! Your home is lovely
and perfect for a family of 4! Plenty of living space
and things to do! We drove out to Mesillas, ate
lunch in Concordia and toured Copala. Mesillas and
Concordia are darling furniture making towns and
Copala is a delightful artist town, founded in 1565
built into the slopes of a small valley. You drive
through beautiful country. If you rent a car these
places are the places to visit.We played at the beach
in the Gold Zone and rented Jet Ski's. The Beach
vendors ask for your business frequently but are
very nice about it. We had awesome pizza in Old
Down Town Mazatlan called "Machado". Excellent!
We also ate at a WONDERFUL place in Concordia
called, "El Granero". It was delicious as well! Lunch
at "Panama" another excellent spot to eat in Gold
Zone Mazatlan or just cooking in your terrific
kitchen and drinking Margaritas! We bought our
groceries at either Walmart or Sorianna. We did the
hike and stair stepped our way to the "El Faro" just
before sunset. It was INCREDIBLE! What a view! The
man guarding the lighthouse allowed us to go
inside of the lighthouse all the way to the top.
WOW!At Estrella Del Mar we have enjoyed the Ocean
and both pools! We have had hot/clear days and
stormy weather too. The lightning and thunder is
magnificent! We have walked to the Estrella turtle
house to see the turtles. We loved it here so much
we would LOVE to come back!
You have a treasure here in Mazatlan! We thank you
again for your hospitality! We will see Estrella Del
Mar again soon! Muchas Gracias!!!!

| Estrella del Mar is really beautiful!! It is the star of the sea, just as the name means. Three miles of untouched beach for the romantics (or athletic)- coconut palms lining the golf course - a swimming pool to die for - a jacuzzi for the muscles - tennis for the energetic - boogie boarding for the kids - golf for the pros - and a classic clubhouse for cocktails. All of this and the appartment directly over the pool and beach! Thanks so much for letting me share. Joey. |

| Thank you for the wonderful vacation we had in your condo at Estrella del Mar - Everything was perfect from the beautiful, well equipped condo to the pool, jacuzzi & golf course. We had such a great time swimming, boogie boarding, golfing, playing tennis at Estrella...Mazatlan is also definitely worth a visit - a true mexican experience! We hope to come back! |

| We enjoyed the unit very much and all went well. Our kids loved it and it was nice not to have to watch them every minute of the day. We will highly recommend your unit to anyone that is heading your way. |
