Wonderful week and family reunion at Footprints! Marta H Doylestown, PA USA Review Submitted: July 22, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009 Our stay at Footprints was awesome!!! The villa had a perfect location away from everything. It felt really secluded, private, relaxing and provided our own personal beach since rarely anyone walked that far on Grace Bay! The new grocery store close to Seven Stars was a wonderful convenience. Everything we needed was just a few minutes from Footprints.
The kitchen at the house was so wonderful that we actually cooked every night of our stay (except the last night when we headed out to Bay Bistro which we love). The bathroom amenities were such a nice touch - we didnt even have to bring shampoo unlike some other villas we rented. It was also wonderful to have a working washer and dryer - with 3 little kids in the house it allowed us to pack a little lighter, knowing we'd be able to wash what got dirty and wear again!
With 4 couples (two of them with young kids) the home provided everything we needed and the layout was ideal. The one bedroom on the main floor was great for our parents - they didnt have to climb up the stairs each night to go to bed. The kids room upstairs with huge bunk beds (long enough to sleep 4 kids with 2 in each bunk) were just perfect for our children. They loved all being in one room each night. The other 3 bedrooms upstairs had king sized beds so they accommodated the 3 couples well and allowed the parents to be close to the little ones.
Watching the sunset each night was probably our favorite - everyone would gather together with a cocktail and see if we could see the local "green flash" -- never did but we still loved the view! Of course swimming in that amazingly colored water during the day was pretty perfect too. The kids loved the pool (with a shallow end for the small ones) and the adults loved the Margaritaville margarita maker that was provided in the kitchen! :)
A car rental is definitely a must when staying at Footprints. There is nothing within walking distance - but thats a plus! :) There is snorkeling gear provided, so you dont have to pack it. Definitely bring swim shoes or well fitting flip flops for kids - the tile around the pool gets really hot during the day.

5 out of 5Great Memories WVZ Sorrento, Florida Review Submitted: June 29, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009 What a great vacation. We visited Footprints and had such a relaxing time. The house was beautiful and very spacious for our group of two families including 7 children. The house, pool, the beach the entire setting was beyond what we expected. This vacation we will certainly cherish in our memories and hope to do again. Richard and family were wonderful in helping us prepare for this trip. I would also highly recommend using Nadeen, she was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious.
This property I would highly recommend to everyone!!

“ Review of Footprints Villa -Awesome! ”
We recently returned from our third trip to Turks & Caicos, this time staying at the Footprints on the Beach villa in the Leeward area of Provo. If you don't feel like reading a lot, I'll summarize it in one word: Stunning! Footprints Villa is a 5BR beachfront villa in the Leeward neighborhood, which really is a neighborhood. No stores here, no shops, etc. You walk out on the street and there are just more houses. We loved staying in this area, great for jogging, walking etc, and only a few minute drive (or a moderate walk) to the nearest small market, and probably 10 mins drive to the IGA and about 20 mins from the airport. The villa itself is new very contemporary beachfront villa, just our style. They really didn't cut any corners. Great kitchen, great pool deck, great bedrooms. It has wifi internet which was completely reliable, a cell phone is provided with the rental, it has a nice media room with a booming surround sound, DVD player, and a large plasma TV. Each bedroom also has sat TVs. So your entertainment should be taken care of. The pool is very nice, though we tended to spend more time in the ocean. The pool has a small round baby pool attached to it, so it's perfect if you have little ones along. A lot of poolside furniture is also provided, as well as pool toys, and even an outdoor pool table! And if that's not enough, walk toward the beach and there's a gas firepit, very nice to fire up in the evenings and sit around. They really did think of everything... The beach that Footprints is on is perfection -- you can literally walk for miles in either direction. Walk to the left and you head toward the resorts (though its a good 15+ minute walk before you reach one) -- walk to the right and you are on miles of secluded beach. We absolutely loved the beach and the water on Turks, and Footprints is on a great stretch of sand! The house itself is very cool. From interior glass walls, a brand new kitchen with high-end appliances, and bedrooms with great showers and bathtubs (and comfy beds). The upstairs bedrooms facing the ocean have balconies -- the Master BR has a HUGE balcony with a great round lounger/bed. We spent a lot of time out there.
Probably the best part of all though is the owner/manager Cally, who was extremely helpful and friendly. She obviously cares about the villa and your satisfaction with it! A rare treat these days -- usually you deal with some rental company that has no vested interest in the property. We have no interest in the property other than enjoying our staying and planning a return trip next year!

5 out of 5 Holiday In Paradise sparkets Seaford, East Sussex, UK Review Submitted: January 31, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008 We all wanted to thank you for sharing your wonderful house with us, all our party had a fantastic time there. There were so many personal touches in the house that made it stand apart from anything else on offer. The house was everything that we had hoped for, and having spent most of the year gazing at the website and the increasing number of pictures, we were worried that the house would not live up to our increasing expectations. However, it certainly lived up to and indeed surpassed them. Having a candle lit bath looking over the ocean was a real treat and made for a very romantic moment in a house with 7 offspring! The mattress toppers made the beds the best we have ever slept on away from our own. The location was superb and having visited several Caribbean islands I finally had to admit that these islands were the most beautiful and so far unspoilt.
Your recommendations for, Catch the Wave, and the private boat trip around the other islands, and Doug from the Water skiing were excellent. The chef form Kissing Fish was lovely, very friendly, helpful and made cooking for 11 of us seem so simple, her food also tasted great. I think we would have loved to have had her cook for all 10 days.
We did eat out a few times as well, Hemingway's was very good for a party of our size, but unfortunately the Italian near Salt Mills was very average to poor, one to discourage if any one asks. Grace's Cottage lovely position and ambience, excellent friendly service, although the food a little over the top.
This truly was a piece of paradise and what dreams are made of.

pure poetry traveljunky long beach, california Review Submitted: February 8, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008 Your place is truly stunning. We so enjoyed getting to know the beach: the cool, soft sand in the morning, becoming toasty warm in the afternoon. Watching the sun pass over the amazing water each day. And the moon at night--simply magical. Happily, your villa complements and celebrates the beach beautifully. The modern design of Footprints is amazing and the attention to detail made our stay warm, wonderful, and luxurious. Your choice of high-quality bed linens, cozy robes, even the tiles under our toes made us feel as if we were having a once-in-a-lifetime experience. To have a fun, relaxed, Caribbean vacation with contemporary architecture and design as the backdrop was a dream come true!
Thank you for sharing this special place with us.

| Footprints Villa is One of my most favorate homes I have ever had the pleasure of renting. The home itself is magnificent, with so many upscale things inside it, the views from the home are incrediable. Outside is a whole new world. The pool deck is great, a lovely shaded area to read during the day or at nite, and then the decking that leads to the ocean. I would go from the pool chairs ,down to the deck by the ocean and sit there, go float in the warm, calm, ocean and then back to the pool.. It was wonderful. The home is so quiet and private, but just a hop, skip to all sorts of activites on the island..a perfect blend. I loved the home, and Richard and his wife are so kind and helpful to deal with. That is rare to have the owner of the home so concerned directly with things. You will not be disappointed I can assure you. Wish I was back right now. |
