Dear Elayne and Beverly,
Well, we've been back from our holiday for nearly four weeks and I'm very sorry I haven't sent you a note sooner. It's been a busy time with work and school, and it's amazing (and a little sad!) how quickly we've gotten caught up in the old routines again.
Thankyou both for making our week in Murs so fantastic. Your house, of course, is beautiful and very comfortable, but it's your 'hospitality' and those little extra things you provide that make it so special. We also enjoyed a few of the places you recommended, particularly Goult and lunch at La Terrasse there, and yet there are still many more we didn't get to - maybe next time!
After Murs, we had a couple of weeks in Italy which were great as well... but I think Murs will always be a highlight. I've attached a couple of photos I thought you might like.

Comments: We had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful house for two weeks in August 2008. It is so well equipped & presented, it enabled us to explore the beautiful hilltop villages in the Vaucluse Luberon Beverly does a wonderful job looking after the property with nothing being too much trouble for her (like collecting my parcel from the post office) she really goes the golden mile. If you want a beautiful place to stay in Provence look no further than this beautiful house in Murs.

Dear Elayne
I would like to tell you how very much my wife and I and our little boy Patrick enjoyed the week in your home in Murs. I have attached a few snapshots. Your home is beautiful and its location is hard to beat. We enjoyed every day of the vacation experiencing the markets and shops and the lively and friendly people we met in Murs and the surrounds. Your English neighbours were very welcoming and of great assistance. Beverly was equally of great help and insight.Please send her our thanks when you next speak with her.
Few weeks pass by without us contemplating a return visit. We can also report that the kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm after having raided the local markets for their abundance of produce and delicacies aided and abetted by sublime wine. The bedrooms are very spacious and elegantly furnished and the top level deck a wonderfully sunny spot to read and nap! Beth reminded me too of the very well equipped laundry which is a boon if you have a messy child to contend with.
Lastly I attach two snaps. The first shows a little man enjoying his breakfast and the other one that I took outside the house is a favourite of mine not because of any skill in its taking but because to me it is just what a genuine French street in a village should look like.

Thankyou for a wonderful ‘Provencal Experience’. We loved the house, the village and all the surrounding countryside of the Luberon. I would like to say that this was by far one of the best vacation rentals I have rented. The house was everything described and more. The views from the village were spectacular. Beverly and Elaine (owner) could not have been more accomodating. When we rent in the future, we will definately rent this house again. The house was large enough to accomodate 6-8 people comfortably without getting into each others way. This was our home away from home. Thanks again and looking forward to staying again in the near future.
