| An amazing villa in a perfect location. Unlike some villas where the pictures are better than reality, this one is better in person! The lot, interior and views from this villa are amazing. It is in a quiet, safe location, and the housekeeping and kitchen staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!! The only minor drawback is that the main part of the villa gets a little warm during the day since there is no central A/C (each bedroom has it's own unit), but honestly, we got used to the temperature, and you won't want to spend much time sitting around the villa anyway as there is so much to do outside. |

| We stayed at Baywatch over spring break 08. The house was spectacular! There are many excursions they will help you arrange to help round out your trip. My girls loved the house so much they didn't want to do much of anything besides hang out here. There is absolutely no better place than here to watch kitesurfing. I could have watched the locals surfing all day; they were mesmerizing. I DO recommend public transportation. As you will read, driving is the biggest risk on the island. Public transportation is the way to go. |

My family spent a week in July at the house. I wanted to learn to kite surf and this was the house available for my my of six.
The house is very nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. The multiple terraces are great for spending some quality time viewing the ocean.
The manager is helpful and very nice. She arranged many things for us - the taxi to and from the airport, the cook, and info about kite schools.
The only drawback is the lack of AC in the main living area. It can be a little hot at times. The bedrooms have AC's so sleeping comfortably is no problem. Fortunately, there is a nice sea breeze every day and if you leave the doors open the air is fresh. After some time, you get used to the lack of AC and maybe even add to the tropical atmospere.
The staff is very friendly. The maid service was good. The security was good. There were some concerns about petty theft, but we never felt restricted.
Overall, this is a great house to spend a week or longer for a vacation. I tried to book for Christmas as I was checking out, but it was already taken. I plan to go back next summer. |

| We stayed in the villa over Christmas (2007). The villa was amazing. We walked the beach many times and are convinced that this house is on one of the best lots in the town. It was great to have a fresh water pool to swim in after being in the ocean. We went with 8 adults, 1 child, and 2 babies and we all slept comfortably. I can't say enough about the villa - the location is great and the villa is even better than the pictures show. The only small complaints that I had were: (1) there was only one small tv in the house, (2) the wireless internet didn't work unless you were right next to the management office, (3) the telephones didn't work (this was very inconvenient, and (4) the cook was more expensive than we thought it would be (about $60 per meal after groceries). The positives, however, far outweighed the negatives. The place was awesome; better than anything else we saw while we were there. We flew into Santiago - it was about an 1.5 hour drive to the villa. The walk to the city was about 10 minutes on the beach or the street. Our favorite excursion was 27 charcos (waterfalls) - it was incredible. Thank you for the great experience. |

We sincerely appreciate your comments and your compliments. Cabarete BayWatch is indeed one of the best villa's located in the best location on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
We are continually looking for ways to improve our guests' experience and therefore also very much appreciate your honest feedback.
We apologize for the inconveniences you have mentioned and to this end we have taken the following actions:
We have completely changed all the furnishings in the living room and in two bedrooms and this includes the addition of a new 37 inch TV.
The WIFI signal has been strengthened.
The telephone in the house is working now but unfortunately we are at the mercy of phone company here and their service is not always dependable.
I will immediately look into the meal preparation charges and if warranted we will provide you with a refund of any excessive charges.
Thank you again for taking the time to write us. We are glad that you enjoyed your vacation and hope to see you back soon.
