| My husband and I were blessed to be able to stay for three months, the summer of 2009, in this great apartment while we were working at the university. The location is very convenient to Columbia. The scenery is amazing from the peaceful back deck. The apartment was exceptionally clean when we arrived and was uncluttered and comfortable as the photos on the site show. Our hosts were attentive and thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we are able to stay there again. |

The accommodations were incredible...the scenery magnificent! The beds were more comfortable than ours at home and we look forward to spending more time this summer at the apartment.

My husband, daughter, myself and our 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at this apartment for 3 nights in early November 2008. The location was exactly what we wanted as it was peaceful with beautiful sunsets yet very convenient to Columbia.
It was a perfect country existence and we will definitely return!

I stayed at this property on two different occasions (April to May and then again July to August)each time for about 3 weeks. It was absolutely wonderful and suited my needs. The inside and outside spaces and atmosphere allowed for wonderful peace and quiet and was very condusive for studying purposes. I especially enjoyed having a grill on the sun deck for grilling outside. Something else that made this particularly a nice stay for me was that I was able to have my dog with me. I have to say I think he rather enjoyed being out in the wide open space. He spent lots of time outside on the sundeck and barking at the small animals that would pass through the yard. The owners were very accomidating and always checked to see if everything was going well. My stay was such that I wasnt ready to leave each time I had to depart. |

I stayed in this apartment for 11 weeks over the period of about 4 months, from January through May of 2008. It is an absolutely wonderful home away from home. The furniture is all very comfortable, especially the bed in the master bedroom. The bathroom is luxurious. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking essentials and nice appliances. It was handy to have the washer and drier right there.
The view was incredible, with the lake and all of the nearby trees. I observed deer and many different birds from my windows. The outdoor patio deck was very nice too, with a nice bench that I used to study on sunny days.
The cable TV, DVD, and radio worked well as did the internet connection.
The hosts are incredibly nice and caring. They were very accommodating and made my stay very pleasant.
It became my home away from home that I hated to leave. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I would not hesitate to return.

We stayed in this beautiful property for a week in October and found it so comfortable that we did not want to leave! The apartment is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped to make it a 'home from home'. The spacious feel of the apartment is enhanced by its large windows - especially in the living area and the bathroom - and gives justice to the beautiful countryside views. The decor, quality and finish of the apartment are outstanding for a holiday property! Whilst giving us the feeling that the property is situated in the quiet countryside, we also found it to be in comfortable reach of Columbia, a charming university town with a multitude of independent galleries, restaurants and coffee shops which we enjoyed visiting very much. In addition, the apartment is within easy reach (10 minute car journey) of the Katy-Trail network, which we enjoyed during bike-rides and hikes! We thoroughly would recommend this property without reservations! |
