| We stayed at Rocky Ridge for a week in July 2009. The cottage is quite lovely, wonderfully quiet and restful, with all of the comforts of home. We really loved our stay and enthusiastically recommend it. Thank you, Sandy and Herb! |

We stayed in the cabin near the end of July. The cabin is great with a lot of western decorations. It is very clean and well kept up. Herb and Sandy are very responsive to any needs one might have. The parks are close. There are some nice places to eat. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tom, Cindy, and Jessica |

| My friends and I really enjoy staying in Rocky Ridge ranch. We spent a great amount of time searching for a place with a reasonable rate, and we were glad we found this place. Unlike any other places, this cabin has no hidden fee! The owners, Herb and Sandy, are really nice people. They took a great care in responding emails and telephone calls. The cabin itself is really nice. It's new and well equipped. We didn't have any problem with gas, electricity, or hot water. I would definitely go back to this place if I have a chance to visit Sequoia again. |

We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin. It was clean and well taken care of and Sandy and Herb were helpful and informative during our stay. It was obvious they took great pride in their ranch. It was the perfect location from the parks and you cannot miss out on the Bear Mountain Pizza experience after a day on the trails.
Thanks once again, for your hospitality and making our honeymoon memorable. |

My family and I were so happy to stay at Rocky Ridge Ranch! Our girls loved waking up in the morning seeing the cattle and playing with the horses. The ranch was immaculate and beautifully decorated - we loved coming back from our long hikes to such a wonderful, comfortable place.
I would highly recommend Rocky Ridge Ranch if you are staying in California. The atmosphere and Sandy's warm hospitality just can't be beat.
Thanks Sandy and Herb!

| Wonderfully serene cabin in a beautiful part of California. My parents and I stayed for a few days and were thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail Sandy and Herb have invested in the property. The cabin is clean, fully furnished and tastefully decorated. Views are of the Sierra foothills and valley, not to mention coyotes and cattle. It is a scenic, 20 minute to the Big Stump entrance of Sequoia NP -- conveniently located near the sights of both Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The owners are friendly and available to guests, but the property allows for complete privacy if that's what you're looking for. Highly recommended all around! |

We stayed at Rocky Ridge this May, and absolutely loved it. The cabin is in a beautiful area with nice mountain views. Inside the cabin is meticulously clean, brand new, and well decorated. Everything you need is there (dishes, glasses, extra towels, salt and pepper, tea bags, you name it), and above all, the owners Sandy and Herb are such lovely and nice people.
The bedrooms are nice and comfortable with closet space, the shower is great and you won't have any problems with hot water. The living room is cozy and nice for sitting and talking, and so is the front porch. We really loved this place.
It's a 20 minute drive (beautiful road) to the Kings Canyon entrance of the park (North part).
The longhorns are amazing - You definitely want to see them.
And the Pizza place down the road has great Pizza.
So - if you're looking for a place to stay at in the area I would definitely recommend Rocky Ridge. The price is right and there's no hidden fees, cleaning fees, etc. Go for it! Next time we want to take a vacation in this area we will certainly call Sandy Back. |

Susan....We enjoyed a great weekend at your wonderful cabin last month. I keep telling our friends how great it is to stay at your beautiful and quiet ranch. It was especially fun for us to get up early in the morning and hike around the property and discover the wild turkeys roaming around. Thanks again for the accommodations and we hope to see you again next year. |

| Wow! What a fantastic cabin. My boyfriend, Craig and I stayed for 4 nights in March 2008 and we loved every minute we spent at Rocky Ridge Ranch. The cabin is in excellent condition and had absolutely everything we needed. We loved the serenity and the privacy but it was great to know the lovely owners, Sandy and Herb weren't too far away in case you needed them. We couldn't believe how quick it was to get to the National Park and spent lots of time up there, admiring the beauty and sledding! Both of us have everything positive to say about Rocky Ridge Ranch and would encourage anyone to stay there! Sandy and Herb, this is a fabulous property and thanks so much for having us. Hopefully we'll make it back one day. From this Aussie, it's definitely "two thumbs up!" Cheers! |

| My 3 friends and I stayed at the ranch the week of Christmas. Wow, what a wonderful vacation! The cabin is very new and stylish. My bed was very comfortable. We'd wakeup in the mornings, have our coffee and watch bobcats and deer walk by the cabin. We took walks on the ranch and were watched by the 15 or so gentle Longhorns. One day we drove one hour to the old town of Visalia to antique and eat some yummy mexican food. Most of the drive was through the orange fields and we saw ripe grapes on the vine. Another day we drove into the National Parks and played in the snow and had dinner at the Lodge up there. We all really loved it, it was the perfect place to stay. Thankyou to the owners, they were so accommodating and really have gone the extra miles to make this a wonderful place to stay. |

PS. It was fun to watch the longhorns passing by in the morning; especially when they butted heads with each other. |

Been there -- delightful, April 2007 By A renter (USA) This time last year a friend and I were the first people to stay in this new cabin. All the comforts of home in a beautiful rustic setting. I had not realized how many interesting places there are within a reasonable drive. Delightful hostess. |

Awesome Retreat!, September 6, 2007 By A renter (San Diego, CA) What a wonderful retreat from the hectic city life! Lots of open space, fresh air, wild animals, and stars! The accomodations were excellent - very cozy, clean and private. We visited in April of 2007, a great time to catch the last of the snow in King's Canyon and the beautiful spring wild flowers in the surrounding area, including right on the property! We definitely hope to return. |
