| Had a great week at Kristy's Florence apartment. The apartment is very large and comfortable by European standards and the elevator is a bonus. On this same trip we paid more for a walk up Paris apartment that would fit in Kristy's living room. Excellent bus service is nearby and grocery stores are within walking distance. This is a very nice apartment and the owner (Kristy) is a joy to work with. |

We really enjoyed staying in your Italian Apartment. The apartment was exactly as described and we were not disappointed. Due to the high temperatures, the air conditioning was a god send. Your suggestions to use bus numbers, 22, 29 and 30 was perfect and it was so convenient even though we were a distance from the center of town. Connecting with the trains was easy and fun. Since we were there for a month, the ability to just relax after a day of touring was wonderful.
The ability to call back to the states was a real plus to the apartment. As was the wireless internet. The telephone gave us the ability to keep in touch with family and friends and the internet gave us the ability to actually view the news from the states. There were so many things in the apartment that would not have been available at other locations.

We stayed at the apartment in May 09, and it was just as described: spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The internet access is very handy. Skype is a supplement to the provided phone. Googlemaps includes directions on the bus, giving times and choices. Most of the buses are just outside the apartment. In addition if you have an unlocked gsm mobile phone, there is a TIM store around the corner. It is very reasonable to buy a simcard. The Essalunga supermarket is a short bus ride away. It has everything. You will appreciate the apartment, and you will love Florence.

We have just returned home after a memorable, month long stay in Kristy and Massimo's apartment. It was spacious,well-equipped(right down to bottled water, umbrellas,laundry detergent and a book selection!)and had the great feature of free calls to land lines at home...nice to stay connected at no cost! The kitchen had great appliances and pans.The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice! Great location away from the crowds! We had four bus routes to choose from for a 12 min. ride to the center of Florence. We bought a pass for the month for 34 euro pp.. really,a big bargain.. (One taxi ride to a restaurant at night was 12 euro+ tip each way.) Bus 22 was our favorite....grocery shopping on our way home. PAM was very good,but extended stay people,also look for Essalunga on Bus 22 route...great food selection!Wow!
Enzo, a very nice, patient man, showed us about the features in the apartment when we arrived and Kristy and Massimo had left many ideas for restaurants and day trips....follow their advice!
Well, everything I have mentioned certainly added up to a wonderful stay in a beautiful country. Thank-you to Massimo,Kristy and Enzo...what a great team! Grazie!Ciao!

We went to Florence and stayed at Kristy and Massimo's apartment in Dec. 08 - Jan.09. Everything about the apartment was good. It was spacious, clean, and had all the facilities of a home. I especially liked the kitchen. The apartment was conveniently located near the airport and had bus stops and grocery stores located near by. We enjoyed shopping our breads and soups at PAM.
Kristy and Massimo were very helpful in providing us the information of the area and gave us tips to plan our trip. They gave us all the information to make our travel in Florence and around as smooth as possible. I can't wait to plan another trip to Florence and stay at the apartment again!

I am happy to contribute to traveler recommendations!First, this apartment was in excellent condition, and cleanliness is a priority for me.I was intent on spending a good deal of time in Florence and the Tuscany area, so premium hotels are unrealistic for the US dollar. What I can tell you is that this apartment is situated between two major bus lines that loop around the main train station which is the heart of all activity. I am a bit of a softie traveler, wanting to know where, how, and why and Kristi provided more than I could have hoped for...Maps for bus schedules, train schedules,, and suggestions that truly made my visit more complete!. From her suggestions I visited San Gimignagno, Sienna, Pisa, Verona, etc. My only addition to the info that she gave me was that when you leave the Pisa station for a bus to the leaning tower you need to take the LAM Rossa (red) which is across the small circle drive, but there aren't any good signs to help you out...I wish the best for you... this is a great place to stay on a budget!!!!!!!!PT-Red Cross

Your place was clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was so nice of your cousin Enzo to welcome us into your apartment. We felt at home there. The location was great. Really enjoyed living like the locals and using the public bus system. It was just a short ride to most sights. We had such a fabulous week, with our best meal in all of Italy at The Fish Restaurant. We mentioned we were staying at your place, and Chef Franco treated us like family. The shellfish risotto was very good! Thank you for all the information you forwarded us...it really helped us to pre plan our trip. We can't wait to return to Florence... The only thing we would change on our next trip would be to stay longer than one week in your lovely apartment. Thanks again!

This was a comfortable, clean and quiet apartment. It is centrally located in a neighbourhood that has many restaurants and grocery stores. There is easy access to buses for short rides to central Florence.
Everything worked well and it was generously stocked with all the basic necessities. The owners are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

| My wife and I had a wonderful getaway to Florence during the first week of April, 2008. This apartment was perfect for us and extremely easy to find by bus or Taxi. Grocery stores and restaurants are close in proximity which made things extremely easy at the end of each long day. Additionally, the owners are very friendly and helpful. They made some great recommendations on what to see and do around the Florence area which made our trip planning even easier. Overall a 9 out of 10 and a reasonable value. We will be back! |

| My husband and I traveled to Italy in October, 2006 to attend a wedding. While there, we had the pleasure of staying in your Florence apartment. What a treat! All of the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. We found it to be very convenient for sightseeing, dining, traveling to other areas and for relaxing and resting in the evenings. Perfect! |
