Pretty like a picture. We felt at home in this tasteful, historically interesting and well located house. The owners are generous, true hosts. We would be thrilled to return. |

| An adorable place filled with charm made my stay in Santa Fe fun and relaxing. I would love to come back to enjoy another week of peace. And the best part is I could walk to the Plaza in 5 minutes! |

What a joy it has been for us to step into your world, bathed in color and the sweeping dynamic of Noel's paintings. We are truly grateful for all you both did to create this moment in time and will depart this world with a host of beautiful memories and a reaffirmation of the beauty/goodness of life!

This has been a perfect location for our family on the occasion of the Ben West/Allison Bentley wedding. We have enjoyed each room, not only for the comfort it has afforded, but also because each room is of such artistic interest. Such a beautiful place to call home. Thanks for your personal hospitality, Russ and Noel.

My only regret is that there was so many activities to do, and food to eat, and that I didn't get to spend as much time in charming Adore as I would have liked. I hope to return. In the meanwhile, I've sung "Colorful Santa Fe's" praises far and wide. Thanks again.

Our stay in colorful Casa Adore made our visit feel more authentic. The view of the full moon from here--over the cross on the hill--was breathtaking.

Canyon Road, Noel's mulled wine, Russ's singing Christmas Carols--made the BEST Christmas Eve I've experienced in many years. Claudia and I will definitely come again at Christmas.

From the moment we drove through your driveway, we felt that we had a sacntuary. We were very comfortable at the well-equipped house; our senses were filled. Noel, thank you for sharing your stories; they enriched and inspired. . . Gaia, you reminded us how much we value community and connection among our group. May many weary travelers find this oasis for relaxation and for playing.

As I was reading through one of Noel's fascinating books on weaving, I came to the part on "pathways" and realized "Otero-by-the-Plaza" is a physical "pathway" of sorts: there is an overwhelming sense of "liberation, peace, and security" and it fills you with positive energy that readies you for the next adventure. What a wonderful, restorative feeling--enhanced greatly by the indescribable company of Otero's wonderful hosts: Russ and Noel. Thank you.

When we turned down the narrow driveway to Otero-by-the-Plaza, we wondered what we were getting into. Then there were you two to greet us with your puppets and we knew all was going to be great. Among the five of us we've stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, the Ritz in Paris, Algonso XIII in Seville, The Brown Palace in Denver and the Luxor in Las Vegas NV, but none can compare in charm, color, ambiance and eclectic decor of your cottages--and--this includes your gracious and charming hospitality.

Such a joy to stay with you again. I admire you both for the lives you have lived and the richly, genuine beings you have become. What an inspiration to reside within your works of art and be surrounded by your creativity and the dramatic Santa Fe environs. I'll spread the word--Otero-by-the-Plaza's the only place to stay in Santa Fe! So thankful for all the ways you made our visit so meaningful and memorable.

What an unforgettable joy this time with you has been. I have felt the warmth and radiance of your beauty in surroundings, in your philosophy of life, and how you live it--and the giving you both are. The encouragement you gave me to paint will last me a long time so I feel I am taking part of you home with me--a big impact on my life. Will try to always live in beauty the way you do. My heart's thanks.

Language, with all its power, lacks the ability to express fully what you have so perfectly created here at this casita. The harmony between Santa Fe and Casita, between the vista and values exuded here are most silent, yet most profound. We found a home in your beautiful world and we thank you for the opportunity. Please save our wine for next time. I can't wait to toast our next Santa Fe sunset and to see you both again.

Bertha Stevens pointed out something special: "To Walk In Beauty." To walk in beauty is a blessing. What makes you "Sir Russell" and you "The Lady Noel" so special is that you share your blessing and enable others to walk in beauty as well. Thank you for your hospitality, the wit, the conversation and the inspiration. One can never look at ones world in quite the same way after a stay a Otero-by-the-Plaza.
