Bruce, we had the best vacation! Your place is a little slice of paradise. The location is primo. Your neighbors (Mark, Bob, and Jeff) were friendly and very informative. Once, at a sunset gathering with the regulars, Jeff showed us some underwater video he took while diving at 50' of a sea turtle and a large grouper. Bob is a walking Hawaiian encyclopedia and funny. Mark had lots of good info and good stories like the time a veteran surfer got killed by a 14' shark about a mile away. After that I always checked behind me when snorkeling. By the way, the snorkeling was pretty good right out front of your condo. We did the tourist thing during the first week (I'll spare you the details) and took your advise and relaxed the second week.
The most impressive thing about Maui is the weather and the view of both mountains and sea at the same time. Also, we couldn't get over how blue the water is. Whale watching is great fun, both from a boat and from the shore. Saw a mother and calf breech together, first mom then the baby - spectacular. By the way, the zip-line attraction is booked 3-4 weeks in advance. So, I guess you have to book before you leave.
We have good pictures, video, and memories of Maui. Thanks a million for sharing your home on Maui with us. After telling all of our friends and relatives about your place, I may be sending you some business. Take care and stay out of trouble.

Thanks, Bruce, for a great spot to call home in
Maui! We loved every minute of our 10-day stay,
and can't wait to go back! Especially awesome were
all the whales we could easily see from the condo!
And your gift of a copy of "Maui Revealed" was not
only generous, it proved priceless!! Without it our
vacation would not have been the same. And, the
book's recommendation to see "Warren and
Annabelle" dinner show was right on! What a great
night! And we had whales come right up to our
whale cruise boat with Pacific Whale Foundation!
Their cruise was incredible.!

I had a great time in Maui. This unit is clean and comfortable in an ideal location on West Maui between Kaanapali and Napili. With beach access and a pool out your door, it is great value. I highly recommend it.

| What a grand place to center our trip to Maui. Hale Ono Loa provided the perfect location for most of what we wanted in Maui. The condo is comfortable (bed is fantastic!!) and all the neighbors friendly and willing to offer advice and tasty samples of fresh caught fish! We joined them often on the lower deck at sunset for group pot-luck poo-poos. Favorite activities included snorkeling at Napili, black rock, Hwy Marker 14 beach, and Honoloa; kyack trips to Turtle town; Molokini trip; America II sail; day trip to Kualapapa site on Molokai; shopping at the local markets in Maui and Kahalui; trekking across massive lava fields near La Perouse Bay; savoring Maui grown beaf rib eye steaks purchased only from Long's Drugs and grilled at the pool; Warren & Annibel's (4 stars!), trip to Hana and her waterfalls; sunrise at Haleakala; Hawaiian drums and Hula dancing under the banyan tree at Lahaina courthouse, coolest drive across Northwest Maui one-lane road beside sheer cliffs and isolated art galleries; and lollying around the pool or watching the turtles off your terrace. We stayed busy but saved some things for our trip back! Thank you so very much for Maui Revealed which we found more useful than any other guidebook. MAHALA AND ALOHA! |

It's been over a month since our return from Maui and we still talk about it nearly every day. Your condo was the perfect place from which to explore the Western part of the island. And having split our time between your place and a condo in Kihei, we would stay on the western side when we return to Maui. While we didn't spend much time with our feet up enjoying your condo, we did get to see the whales from the lanai and talk with your friendly neighbours on the two mornings we had our breakfast there. Our sons loved to play shuffleboard when we returned in the evenings. May we get to enjoy your hospitality again in future! Thank you |

Been very busy since coming back from our vacation in Maui. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again. As you may have heard from Bob, we kept so busy on our trip that we only slept in the room. We really enjoyed our stay. The book you sent was great. We used it every day. We went to the blowhole, went to the Iao Needle, stopped by the Plantation, went through the Botanical Garden, drove the road to Hana and saw many waterfalls, and the caves at black sand beach. We drove all the way around instead of driving back the way we came and the drive was a great adventure that we enjoyed in spite of the road conditions. We snorkeled Molokini and Black Rock. Shopped Whaler's Village, Lahaina and the market. I was fortunate to hear someone on our plane mention that the cheapest places to get gifts would be the market on Mon, Wed & Fri. We did just that and brought something back for everyone. We did a cocktail cruise and whalewatching. We also did see whales from the patio at Hale Ono Loa with our binoculars. The place was exactly what we expected which was nice. I think your place had the best view and I am glad we were able to stay there. We will be referring other people.

The Maui guidebook that you sent us was so helpful. One problem though; I couldn't get my legs tan because the book was always open on my lap! We didn't want to miss a thing. (6-29-2005) Hi again Bruce, Feel free to use our comments on your website. Gerald and I talked about the factors of choosing your condo. We decided the location so near the water was the main factor. Other things included being on the ground floor and we also didn't want the large "resort" type of condo where you are surrounded by a lot people with families. Some days we had the pool all to ourselves! The pictures of your condo and your quick e-mail response with the "bargain price" also helped to make us choose your condo. Believe me...we were somewhat overwhelmed by all the choices when we first started looking on the VRBO website so I think some of it was good luck when we clicked on yours! Sue

| We stayed in this condominium during the period from 18-24 December 2004. If you are looking for a nice and complete condominium for 2 to 4 people this is a perfect choice. We liked the fact that it is a ground floor condominium, so no elevators or stares necessary. The locations is a quiet location. You will hear no noise from traffic. The only sound you will hear is the ocean. We would rent this condo again if we would be visiting Maui again. |

| 1/12-21/2004 Hi Bruce - Thanks so much sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed watching the turtles and whales from the terrace. The pool was great, we swam every afternoon that we were there.The furnishing are so helpful in making it seem like "home away from home", everything we needed was right there. My husband loved your new bed and spent many hours on the lani getting his suntan. We especially enjoyed hearing the ocean all night and watching it each morning. We saw surfers and wind surfers too and that was fun for those of us who can't surf. The location is great, close to the market, snorkel equipment, and the night life of Lahaina. It was also helpful to be so close to the Kapahua West Airport as we flew out of there to visit O'ahu. We hope to come back and surely will stay longer next time. Thanks again, it was GREAT. |

We're back and settled in at home, which we're not real thrilled about now that we spent a week at Hale Ono Loa!
Thanks for the accomodations and hospitality, we had a wonderful time. The location is great, right close to Lahaina, my favorite town in all of Hawaii. The relaxing atmosphere and romantic setting made for a wonderful anniversary.

After spending 8 days on the island and seeing almost all of the island I know for a fact that a better deal can not be had!! | We had a marvelous time, and we owe a lot of that to the fantastic digs. All the comforts of home PLUS fantastic ocean views and a pool! Mornings were spent on one of the many nearby beaches. Afternoons and evenings were spent on the deck and by the pool. It was the perfect "relaxation" vacation. And we loved having a full kitchen and grill--with a 3-year old child, the last thing we wanted to do was eat out at restaurants every night. |

Spent two weeks in March. All we hoped for, and more. Visited a few condos and resorts while there, and really appreciated the quiet, private atmosphere of your condo. Never crouded; never noisy; beautiful sound of the surf, day and night. View from the deck was so relaxig. We watched whales from there every morning and every evening. Loved the availability of the farmers' markets just down the road for the fresh fruit. Good deli and other shops close by. Traveled the entire island and don't think we saw a better location to stay. | Mahalo Bruce! I just got back from 5 days in paradise and how they flew! The condo and complex are perfect! They're in a great location and are an easy walk or drive to everything! The deck views are spectacular and I loved the Lower Deck Club "meetings" watching the sun set over Lana'i over a glass of wine. I was so pleased to have such a spectacular and unobstructed view of both Lana'i and Moloka'i right out my back door! For up close and personal whale watching I HIGHLY recommend the Pacific Whale Foundation tour...a great non-profit and the cheapest whale watching by boat at $22 for 2 hours. And just to keep that Maui spirit going, I booked the condo for the same time again in 2003 and can't wait to get back! Special thanks to Bob and Peggy for "adopting" me and taking such good care of me while I was there! |

| My Husband and I had the pleasure of staying in Bruce's condo and it was paradise. Maui is beautiful and the condo is in a perfect location. The courtyard is just outside the condo patio and is covered with lush vegetation and beautiful flowers. The ocean is just a few short steps from the patio. The warm tropical breeze and oean waves crashing against the rocks lulled us to sleep everynight. Thank You Bruce, I can't wait to go back. |

The condo was great! There are no hotels in Maui where you can barbeque yourself a great steak, grab a beer and watch the sunset on a beautiful terrace. We had a great time and found the best snorkeling very close to the condo -- go to the Kai Ala beach park and just jump in the water. We also highly recommend the Warren and Annabelle's magic show - save it for your last night and end your trip with a bang!
The condo is in an excellent, convenient location for a great price.
I will say "thank you," but I'll let you wait to hear "Mahalo" from the shop keepers on Front St. who will take all your money for the wonderful touristy gifts you'll buy. :) Thanks again, Bruce! |

Hey guys-wanted to let you know we are back from Paradise! We had an absolutely incredible time and I fell in Love with Maui! Bruce, your place was just awesome-we really couldn't have been happier. Thanks so much for owning that condo and letting us have the opportunity to stay there at a great price. We wouldn't have been able to do so much on the island (or probably even go) if it wasn't for you guys. It was tough to leave. I couldn't even sleep the night before we left cause I knew the sooner I fell asleep, the sooner I'd have to wake up and come home. I did miss Cosby (our dog) though, so it was nice to see him. We went to the Old Lahaina Luau and that was a blast-great recommendation! The beaches were incredible-very calm water and very clear-excellent for snorkeling. We had lots of daquiris and pina coladas, but never too much at once. I'm not sure how that happened! We played some golf and spent so much money on food just like you promised we would! We tried that little Mexican food and cocktails place by the Star Supermarket and thought it was the best Mexican we've ever had! We went back two days later! I plan on going back (to Maui) as soon as possible. After we get our pictures developed we should try and meet up again for dinner so we can show you and talk all about our trip.
Hope things are well, and "Mahalo" again!
