We've stayed at many VRBO properties around the states and even some internationally and this was one of the top places we've lucked into. This is a place that truly delivers on what it promises. I don't believe you can get any closer to the ocean than this unit. It faces north with a side view to the sunset. The unit is set way back from the highway so you hear absolutely no road noise. It's tastefully appointed and thoughtfully equipped (coffee grinder, decent knives and pans). Virtually all you have to do is bring your bathing suit. It's too bad Hawaii is so far away for us East Coasters. I don't know if I'll ever get back but if I do this would be the first place I'd try to reserve and would definitely tell anyone I know who's going to the Big Island. |

| We where blessed with the privaledge of staying in this beautiful home with some friends of ours that came to Kona with us. We've known the Sloan's for a few years and have grown to cherish their friendship. Staying in this wounderful home with the spectacular views from nearly every window, especially the master bedroom & bathroom...WOW!!! Coffee and champaign breakfasts on the lanai with the best view rver. We really enjoyed ourselves just sitting outside in the very private, ocean front backyard watching the whales, dolphins, birds and the different water crafts. The art work is amazing!! So much so, we have collected several of Clint's pieces and enjoy every one of them. We will definately be back to stay, and have recommended it to many friends. |

| AMAZING! We stayed here in June 2008 with our 13 & 22 yr. old girls. We had all kinds of plans to “do the island," however we spent most of our time close by the condo as much of what we wanted to do was essentially within walking or short drive distance. Moreover, the location, setting and beautifully appointed accommodations that this home boasts provided us with everything we wanted and so much more ... Comfortable yet sophisticated decor, Private, Beautifully landscaped, ON THE WATER, and the owners took care of us as you do good friends! I couldn't sleep the first 2 nights, listening to the crashing waves, but didn't mind because I laid there in bed, with a panoramic view, gazing out over the ocean. Every morning we took the short walk to Kahalu'u Beach for snorkeling. It was even better than our Caribbean experiences. Our eldest has visited Hawaii, staying at various notable hotel/resorts, but hands-down, this little oasis is where she had the best time and wants to return. She and my husband took serious advantage of the tennis courts as well. We are in the process of booking our next visit, and expect to be back in the next few months. We cannot say enough, just that we were smitten from the moment we opened the front door and were greeted with the ocean view. Art enthusiasts will be knocked out by the art exhibited in the home, including some of the owners own paintings which are very powerful and exciting to see. Thank you very much and we are so looking forward to our next visit! Mark, Cassandra, Christianna and Aimee. |

We stayed here for our 10th Anniversary and had a wonderful time! The townhouse is beautifully decorated, has very high end amenities, tropical landscaping, and the sights and sounds of the surf right outside your doors and windows can't be beat. Great for dolphin-watching and sunsets! The location was very quiet and private yet still convenient to all the Big Island's attractions. Kahalu'u Beach is a 5 minute walk and the snorkeling there was incredible! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for your hospitality- Steve and Amy Holdaway |

I wanted to convey to you both how much we enjoyed your property. There are so many detail and designer touches, and it really shows your love and attention to detail. You were so right about predicting that we would have a wonder time. The champagne and the print are such a nice touch, as well. My sister has taken it home to Princeton and is having it framed. Thank-you so much. We both wish you and your family much happiness and success in 2008!!!
