What a great experience! The welcome greeting and the extra special basket & baked goods were very much appreciated. We will treasure the time spent in “The Cottage”, and we will try to come back and exchange recipes when we return to the Okanagan again. Although we were on an “Adults Only” wine weekend with five other friends, we wish that we could have brought our three kids so that they could enjoy the wilderness, the waterfall, and your pool. We had a lovely time PLUS the price was worth it!! We will be telling all of our friends about our getaway and hopefully they will get a chance to enjoy your little home away from home.
G & N…Thank you so much for your hospitality – you have managed to catch the essence of “Real Canadian Spirit”!!

We have stayed in a number of vacation rentals and none have come close to matching the quality and service we experienced at this lovely Penticton cottage!
The home is beautiful to be in, incredibly well equipped, quiet and dark at night, close to nature, convenient to town. It was great.
And then, not to raise expectations, the service was amazing. Basic provisions were supplied when we got there and then little presents kept showing up - desserts, wine, a parting picnic. Unbelievable.
The hosts, Glen, Nobuko and their children are warm and generous people. All-in-all we give it two thumbs up! |

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a modern décor. Every need has been anticipated; the kitchen was fully furnished with beautiful dishes and appliances and home made bread and cookies were wonderful. We had forgotten a toothbrush and appreciated that toothbrushes, soaps, and other necessities were beautifully displayed and available for us. The linens and bedrooms were high quality and the fresh flowers and plants made the place very welcoming. This is an excellent place for a couple of couples or families to meet to explore the Okanagan valley- we did wine tours and then we retreated to this beautiful home away from home. The hosts were exceptional. We had our dog with us and we really enjoyed exploring the surrounding mountain with wonderful hikes.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful peaceful surroundings,wonderful hosts. The cottage was stocked with everything you could want. Penticton and the surrounding area are beautiful and the wineries are up and coming. The cottage was spacious and welcoming. The pool is great as well.
I would highly recommend this property. |

Our stay at the cottage was amazing, its on a beautiful property with
lots of wild life that like to come around. We stayed for one week
during august/08, it was very relaxing and very peaceful. The family
does live on the property and is fairly close to the cottage, but that
did not effect our stay at all; as the family (including their kids)
were VERY good at giving us privacy, their kids were polite and quite.
I would definitely recommend this cottage, it is a little bit from
town but it is a gorgeous drive. The view at the cottage is also
amazing, there is a nice big patio, with an amazing view perfect for
watching the sunset. |

Immaculate "cottage", beautiful and peaceful location. We had a wonderful time and would recommend anyone to vacation here. We were far enough away from the City to enjoy nature, but if we wanted to get in to town it was a short drive. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful!
P.S. We will miss Jinny! |
