We just spent a perfect weekend at The Robinson
House. This was our first time using VRBO and we
never imagined that we would find such a beautiful
home available for rent. The Robinson House has
been lovingly restored and decorated. If you are
looking for somewhere to stay with an abundance
of character, this is it.
Joyce, the hostess, has thought of absolutely
everything. The kitchen is fully equipped if you
want to cook for yourself and Joyce ensured that we
had all we could possibly need for breakfast. Upon
arrival we were treated to cookies and freshly made
iced tea. The fridge was stocked with all kinds of
goodies; apple strudel, muffins, Danish pastries,
fresh fruit, eggs, sandwiches, sodas, juice, bottled
water and more. Absolutely incredible!
The beds were extremely comfortable, pillows were
plentiful, and the towels were so very soft. We
really enjoyed starting and ending each day relaxing
in the rockers on the front porch. The location was
very convenient for visiting many historical points
of interest including Antietam, Harpers Ferry and
Gettysburg.
Our only regret is that our visit was limited to a
couple of nights. You really need to take a full
week to enjoy all that this property and the
surrounding area has to offer visitors. We highly
recommend choosing The Robinson House for your
next visit to the Charles Town area.
