| A friend and I stayed at this gem of an appartment in January 2010 and would highly recommend it. I wanted to stay on permanently! It is ideally situated, easy to get into the city centre but far enough out to enjoy a sense of relative space and tranquility. We even saw a green woodpecker from the appartment's window! Don't miss a walk up Gianicolo (Janiculum) hill- practically on the appartment's doorstep- for a wonderful panorama of the city. Thanks Paolo! |

| My 2 girlfriends and I stayed in this apartment and it was perfect for our needs. The neighborhood is pretty and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bus routes and trams were easily accessible for getting around. Paolo was a great host. We would recommend this apartment to any one going to Rome. Hope to go back one day. |

We stayed in this apartment for a week over the New Year's holiday and loved it. The apartment is located in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood. Transportation is easy with the tram close by that goes to Largo Argentina, where you can walk to most sites in Rome. There is also a bus that stops just up the street from the apartment that goes to the Colosseum and Termini. Though it was cold outside while we were there, the apartment was always comfortable and warm. Plenty of towels were provided and the beds were very comfortable. We packed light so loved having the washing machine to get some needed laundry done. There is no dryer but most clothes dried in a day on the drying rack. We used the Internet daily to communicate with home and look up info for our activities in Rome. While there are a number of nice restaurants to choose from just a short walk away, we sometimes prepared simple meals in the kitchen with produce from the nearby outdoor market and bread from a small bakery. Many shops are scattered around Trastevere and the supermarket on the lower level of Standa has a good selection of grocery items. We think that this apartment is a great place to stay while in Rome and highly recommend it. Hope to return some day. |

| Really great location and apartment. 5mins from restaurant area/supermarket with great transport links. Main sites no more than 30mins walk away. Paolo was an excellent host and source of information. A peacefull haven to come home to after a days walking in Rome. Would highly recommend. |

We loved the charming apartment and the friendly host Paolo. Not far away from the sights, we always loved to come back to the pleasant atmosphere of Trastevere and the peaceful apartment. Equipped with all you need (e.g. dishwasher and satellite tv), it was our comfortable home during our short stay. Will come back again. Cheers, |

| The apartment descriptions are all right on the money. The real benefit to my girlfriend and I (we stayed a week) was Paolo. Paolo and his super cool roommate Carmine were some of the most fun people we have ever met on our many travels. Paolo speaks excellent English and made certain we were connected with all things to live like an Italian while we were in town. Yes, the sights are not super close, but at the end of the day it was always a pleasure to come home to the quiet and charm of Trastevere. We could have stayed a month easily in the apartment. If you want to live as a Roman lives, then give this place a shot. |

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for two nights in August - it was far too short! The owner, Paolo was very helpful and gave us tips on how to get to the sights and good, non-touristy restaurants to go to. The apartment itself was very comfortable and furnished very nicely. It also had the benefit of a washing machine, cotbed for our baby, BBC news on satellite TV and internet connection.
We hired a car and were able to park it for free very close to the apartment but since there is a tram and buses very close you don't need a car to explore Rome.
We hope to visit again one day and definitely recommend this lovely apartment. |

We sayed in the apartment for a week with my wife and two kids in the heat of the summer. The apartment was in a calm area, with a nice view to the park-like gardens in the backgroung. The AC worked great, but the building itself did not get too hot, even during the daytime. The sights of Rome are a long walk away, but there are multiple bus lines that pass a block away with great connections to the main sights.
Paolo gave us great insider tips on the cool restaurants in the area, and we loved each and everyone of them. This was a real bonus.
We loved the apartment, and would love to visit again. |

We (my wife and me, two kids, and for a short time my mother in law) stayed in this apartment for a few weeks in June and loved it. The apartment is perfect for two or three and was fine for four but no more. It is quite comfortable and warm and very clean. The building and the street it is on are quiet and we quickly felt at home in Rome. We used the nearby buses and shops and became 'regulars' at the coffee shop at the end of the street. Our hosts were gracious and helpful (even giving us a cell phone to use) and a pleasure to talk too when we had a question or two. The apartment has high speed internet, which was a nice bonus. We hope not too many people chose to stay at the apartment because we want to go back. If I lived in Rome I would think I'd be happy living in this apartment.
Cheers,

| This is a magical apartment in a wonderfully quiet location above Trastevere. It has beautiful views of a tropical courtyard and the faint sound of a fountain lulls you to sleep at night...or if you prefer, remote control AC can be used. It is within walking distance of great grocery stores, restaurants, wine bars and points of interest as well as convenient to public transportation. The apartment has all of the conveniences of home. I loved this place so much that I have already planned my next visit. |
