| We love Northern California and wine country. On this visit, we made one of our best travel decisions and rented this cabin outside of Healdsburg. We could not have been more pleased. Hildy, the owner of the property, immediately welcomed us and showed us the cabin. We couldn't get over how charming every detail was from the stone living room fireplace,to the TWO outdoor dining areas and the amazing view of the vineyard across the way. Hildy gave us directions to hike in hills above and also to the Russian River flowing below. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is one to consider. After a week, we only made a small dent in listening to all of the music made available at the cabin. We are already looking forward to our next stay. |

| A charming little place! Dinner on the deck was wonderful with a lovely view of the distant vinyard across the Russian River. Very peaceful and Healdsburg is a great little town. Big John's (go back to the main street in Healdsburg and turn right then look on the LHS for a shopping plaza after a couple of miles) is an excellent gourmet store. Also in the plaza is a coin-operated laundromat. We look forward to a return visit. |

Lovely spot! I saw a doe and her baby within 5 mins. of arriving! And yet it is close to town. Hildy, the owner, is delightful and escorted us to the cabin. We enjoyed it very much- great view from the deck. I have 2 recommendations, which I explained to Hildy by phone. The bedroom needs a little adjusting (take out the long built-in desk since it is no longer needed, giving the bed some room) and the front steps are a bit treacherous.
Once those are taken care of it's just great! The walk up the road/trail at the top of the street is worth it, but challenging. (Don't worry about the no trespassing sign, I don't think the road is theirs...) All in all, wonderful! |

Some guests appreciate the desktop for their laptops, or just to use for personal items. The bedroom is cozy.
The stairs are steep, all 24 of them. Our cabin is best suited to people who are fit and happy to climb stairs, walk on hills, and who will hold on to the rail when going up or down the stairs. We would love to grade them in a more gradual way in the future.

| It's hard to go back to the 'real world' after a perfect weekend at the Fitch Mountain cabin. We were in town for a wedding, and loved the tree-top get away the cabin provided. Fun, funky, and artsy decorations, great music CD collection, everything you need to be comfortable (great bed). We'll miss the pressed coffee, and relaxed mornings on the deck! Healdsburg is a great little town to visit on its own, and we plan to go back. |

| We had a wonderful time at the cabin! A lovely place to stay for a week--great kitchen, terrific music collection, and a very relaxing location, yet close to the town square. We loved how close the cabin is to our day's adventures--hiking, vineyards, great food, and the Russian River. We highly recommend it! Hildy was a great hostess. |

A great experience! Nestled in the trees in the hills over Healdsburg this house has lots of California cabin style! Nice big deck with a great view, perfect for relaxing and dining. The house has a wonderful, relaxed style, comfortable, even a wood burning fireplace.
Healdsburg is definitely worth a visit - very charming, nice shops a good selection of restaurants and a central place to explore the Russian River Valley. |

| My husband and I made our third visit to the Sonoma and Napa and had the most enjoyable trip ever! We rented a quaint cabin on Fitch Mountain in Healdsburg that was perfect for us. The scenery was breathtaking and we were able to hike the mountain daily. The cabin was only minutes from downtown Healdsburg with all the superb tasting rooms and resturants. We truly had everything we needed. The drive to the coast took less than one hour and we enjoyed the hike from Goat Rock Beach to Wright's Beach. Hildy, the property owner, lives in town as is very hospital and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this cabin getaway! |

| We had a fabulous time at this wine country retreat! Perfect getaway to relax and recharge. The decor reminds me of Domino magazine. The place was very cool and funky (in a good way!). It was just two of us but wouldn't be bad for two couples. Kitchen was well kitted-out. It has a groovy outdoor dining/bbq area and as well as a huge deck with another table and chairs. Cozy wood burning fireplace for those cool nights. Great vinyl collection - jazz, blues, 70's stuff, 80's hits, and an offbeat jug band record! Only a couple of miles from town, and most importantly Big John's supermarket where you can get yummy bits and tuck in for the weekend to be content. Oh yeah, and about 2 dozen tasting rooms with a few miles. Grab a bottle and head back to the cabin. Enjoy! |
