Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at your cottage
and really enjoyed the stay. The view was super, it made me catch
my breath when I came up the stairs, turned the corner and saw the
lake. A very peaceful trip and yes Bargy's pies where very good, we
even brought one home. Take care and thanks once again.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We had a fabulous week here enjoying the sunsets, swimming in the lake, diving for clams, roasting marshmallows on a fire at the beach, visiting shops and galleries in town, biking, grilling, sharing a great family time and much more....

Hello Sue!
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you SO VERY MUCH for allowing us the supreme pleasure of experiencing your exquisite home. And what an experience it was! The house was impeccable and the view breathtakingly gorgeous! The weather was quite windy and cold, but refreshingly so. A few snowflakes flew. Dinner at the Elk River Inn was delicious....I took your suggestion on the whitefish parmesan and it was melt in your mouth delectable! WOW! The sound of the rushing waves against the shore, the site of the gulls, walking along the beach collecting shells, the wall of windows, the trees in all their splendor.....we even saw a HUGE double rainbow over the water! What a beautiful sight! Took a picture from the top deck and will be sure to send it to you if it should turn out. I cannot say it enough, Sue....thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hi, Sue-
I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time, and that your cottage/home is terrific! There wasn't anything we didn't find available. In fact, it became a running joke: OK, who's going to find the pitchers/thermos/measuring cups/plastic containers/best-selling summer reading thriller? We had some spectacular sunsets and as is usual for Michigan, good weather between the weekends.
I'm also curious to know if you rent weekends only, and if so, how much you would charge. We're thinking about coming back up either later in the summer or in the fall for the color change.

We had a great time again this year, in spite of some rain the last couple of days. Please extend our compliments to the cleaning lady. She had the cottage in tip-top condition when we arrived early. She's a gem! The place was absolutely spotless.
We'd like to reserve July 3rd through July 10th, next year. Please keep our deposit and let us know if that's ok.
