We loved our stay at Susurro Sept 09. The apartment is tastefully appointed in bright colors and whimsy truly inspired by the artist's eye. The kitchen is well equipped, the living area a pleasure to relax in, and the bed we slept in exceptionally comfortable. The neighborhood is charming, with a touch of funky here and there, and reasonably close to town. |

| We spent August 2008 as guests at Susurro and can't say enough good things about the experience. Our two young children loved playing on the patio (especially the apples that fall from the nearby trees) and we all enjoyed the proximity to Pearl Street, bike rides, the park, and the fantastic rec center. The house is cozy and cute. Cell phones and wifi were spotty, but manageable. Great rental! |

Homeowner Response:
Cell phone coverage is now excellent within Susurro for all cell phone providers except Nextel. This improvement occurred effective November 2009.
Internet access is by direct connection (CAT5e ethernet cables supplied) to high speed DSL available in both bedrooms, kitchen and the living room. There is occaisional WiFi access based on my neighbors systems - but again internet access is guaranteed via ethernet cable connections.

Three of us stayed at Susurro for four nights in July (the futon which makes an extra bed is very comfortable!).
Sussuro is clean, colourful, high-functioning and sweet. It is welcoming, vibrant and homey, in the perfect proportions.
Mapleton is a funky area and our morning walks into town were always interesting and shady (in the hot weather). It took us less than 15 minutes to walk to town, which is a bonus in a place where parking is tight.
We will return when seminars or conferences bring us to Boulder again. |

We just savored a short 3-day stay at Susurro with our 2.5 year old grandson (who named it "my orange house") and it was altogether a perfect experience. There's a sense of privacy without isolation in this truly colorful FUN apartment. It almost had the eclectic feel of our favorite N. WI cabin from childhood, but with modern conveniences. (The old reclaimed gas stove is quaint, but works great!) The location is ideal: beautiful, historic and walkable neighborhood. Close to lovely N. Boulder park. Not far from Boulder creek trails and easy to get to restaurants & Whole Foods markets. Bruce & Marcela are lovely, but not obtrusive hosts and the artistic talent is evident everywhere. The little private garden patio just outside the door is quiet and peaceful and even provided great wildlife (and neighboring kitty-life) outdoors for wonderful grandson entertainment! We'll definitely seek out a reservation here again when in Boulder on our next trip. It was really like having our very own cottage. |
