| This is the perfect place to spend your vacation in Grand Cayman!! We stayed here on our honeymoon, and we had the most wonderful time. We enjoyed all the things that this place has to offer – relaxing and snorkeling in the Rum Point Beach, kayaking in the lagoon, cruising on a catamaran, swimming in the pool, BBQ-ing in the backyard, looking at stars on the beach at night, enjoying delicious meals at nearby restaurants and many many more. We took a nice scenic drive to George Town to scuba dive twice and enjoyed some of the tourist attractions there. After spending time in the busy part of the island, we were so thankful to have a calm and peaceful place to completely relax and enjoy ourselves. This beach house is truly meant for a tropical getaway. We can’t wait to go back!! |

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week on Grand Cayman thanks in no small part to the perfect launching point for all of our adventures: the Island House at Rum Point. The home itself was exactly as described and exceeded every expectation. It was great to be able to step out the back door and go kayaking on the lagoon, or take the literally one minute walk across the road to Rum Point. What a treat to be so close to such a delightful facility. We made the drive into George Town and Seven Mile Beach almost every day, and found it to be rather enjoyable. It was fun to observe the little details of the island and the ever-changing scenery along the way. Even without the ability to dive, we found that our first experience of snorkeling all around the island was quite an adventure—even coming face-to-face with a moray eel at Eden Rock! What was great, though, was being able to see the cruise ships from the beach at Rum Point, without having to deal with the passengers who disgorge from the ships into George Town—unless, of course, we decided to have some “tourist time”. After a day in town or walking the expanse of seven mile beach, it was a pleasure to return to the absolute tranquility of the north side of the island. We found ourselves quite alone much of the time. In fact, a favorite family activity after dark was to spend some time in a hammock at Rum Point gazing at stars, listening to the surf, and talking, or hunting for the ubiquitous hermit crabs which left trials everywhere in the sand. All in all our time at the Island House was spectacular and has left us with many treasured memories.

Mike,
Meant to email you once we got here. Now sitting on the plane getting ready to leave.
You have a beautiful condo! We had such a good time. Mitzy took real good care. She stopped by several times to check on things.
We left it locked and I have the key.
We had a great time diving. My favorite was cheeseburger reef at the Lobsterpot. Thanks for the heads up. We also saw the submarine at the nicholoson as well as the mermaid, some turtles and such.
Mike, thanks again for such a beautiful home. Much nicer than our last one. v/r Keith David |

| This is a wonderful beach rental. I have stayed here several times to relax and dive, and even to celebrate our honeymoon. This rental is beautifully decorated and has all the ammenities (pool, restaurant/bar/beach steps away, washer/dryer, plenty of kitchen tools, beach towels, and linens, etc.) It is clean and peaceful. This is also a perfect rental for families. I highly recommend this rental and give it five stars. I can't wait to stay there again soon! |
