We had a wonderful stay at the terrific property. It is extremely well located, and each morning we walked down to the beach. The property is located in a beautifully-maintained neighborhood, and it is only about 1 block away from the beach. In addition, the coordination and arrangements with the owners were both well and easily handled. My wife and I both recommend this property. Enjoy Santa Barbara and thank you. |

| My husband and I stayed at Casa Capricho for the Thanksgiving week. It is the perfect place to stay in Santa Barbara. There is a reason why the old Potter Hotel was sited a block or so away. It is an easy walk to the Amtrak Station, Stearn's Wharf, downtown, the Farmer's Market and the beach. The house is a perfect little Spanish gem with everything you need. We cooked a 17 lb turkey in the oven and shared a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration by the fire with our son and his family. Everything you need is here including a wonderfully landscaped small yard and patio. We picked oranges from the backyard tree and enjoyed fresh squeezed orange juice every morning.California at its'best. Santa Barbara's sights are easily accessible by walking or taking the free downtown trolley. Take the train and have a great car-free vacation. Arrangements with Bobbie were professional and easy. This is a great place to stay in Santa Barbara and this from a couple who lived there for 12 years. |

We spent a week in Santa Barbara for our son's wedding this fall. The weather was perfect and we loved staying in the Ruh's West Beach Cottage. It is cozy and cute with a wonderful back and side yard. There is nothing like picking oranges from your own tree and having fresh squeezed juice for breakfast. Everything is within walking distance. We can't wait to return!! Becky and Jay Trullinger, Portland, OR |

| Casa Caprichio is a lovely, charming place that provided us with all the amenities of home for our week-long visit to Santa Barbara. The orange tree in the yard was a bonus and we had fresh juice every day! We walked to the beach, shopping and restaurants, enjoying the morning mist and afternoon sunshine. The local people are absolutely lovely--we made some very dear friends! Thank you, Bobbie, this is a place to which we will definitely return. |

06/28/2002 Spring, Trevor, Elle and Jamie Kigen The first Santa Barbara experience for one of our party and a homecoming for a Santa Barbara native in our group. The “casa”—its charm and location added to a wonderful week of sun, sand, swimming, surfing, running along the beach, getting together with friends and family, shopping, relaxing and just enjoying the beauty surrounding us. A week was too short!

Great location, warm home, awesome garden and yard. We enjoyed walking to the beach, State St. and generally ignoring our car during our stay. Spend a couple of nights snuggled up in front of the great fireplace. A great base for enjoying Santa Barbara and we hope to be back before long. Enjoyed your staff!!!

I though getting married was the best day of my life, but four nights and three days in Casa Capricho is the memory that like gauze shawl around my shoulders shall be the one to keep me warm. Carolyn

Our first long stay in Santa Barbara, and I hope, not our last. We enjoyed living in your house, especially the yard, the orange trees, and the fireplace when it was dull or rainy. We look forward to the next visit!

Had great January. Had lots of rain in February, but this was due to “El Nino”. Normally February has excellent weather. This is a very cozy and convenient place to stay. Recommended Brophy’s in the harbor, the Palace for a fun night of New Orleans style music and food. Also, Joe’s Café on State Street has great food and generous drinks. The best Italian food is Piatti’s in Montecito. Recommend Glen Annie Golf Club and Alisal River Course.
