Capehaven restores your soul with its beautiful furnishings, practical layout, lovely selection of music, and amenities that befit a world-class residence. You will love every minute of this vacation abode lovingly designed and decorated by those who show their love for the Oregon coast in every vista. More like a high-end hotel than a "beach house", Capehaven is the most beautiful home we have ever visited. Our family treasured our too-short time together with lots to do and see but still loved just hanging out with each other on the decks, in front of the fire, or watching the waves crash on the coast. We vow... we will return! |

| This is a fantastic place! Very clean. We had a large group and still felt very comfortable in this home. The rooms are great! They have truly thought of everything. We will stay again next year! |

| 2 other families (total of 10 people) stayed at Capehaven with us for a long weekend - it was WONDERFUL! There was plenty of room for people both to have quiet time as needed, and for several people to be together at the same time - beautifully appointed Capehaven handled it well. The kitchen, master bathroom, and views (ocean and garden) were especially nice. I'm looking forward to going back :-) |

My husband and I took our two children and their families, 11 in all. We had last-minute jitters about having enough room, so threw in a couple sleeping bags. Let me say: NOT needed! Ample room to spread out, with each couple having their own bedroom, and the kids had enough comfy beds, too. The home is beautiful and maximizes the view- I did all the cooking(my insistence!) and it was a pleasure to work in the kitchen. On one side I enjoyed my brood enjoying each other's company, and on the other, a spectacular view of the Pacific! And the beach was fun, too, collecting sand dollars and exploring the caves. We had to spend one afternoon at Seaside doing all the touristy things, and my husband took a couple kids to the Tillamook Air Museum and Creamery. All in all, just the perfect long weekend- we even had sunshine! |

| Our family from Kansas City, Panguitch and Portland had one of our best vacations ever and most of it was based on your beautiful, comfortable and spacious home. There was eight of us. We cooked most evening meals in as the kitchen is such a delight to work in and we had the added bonus of watching the waves and whales from the massive windows in the kitchen. The beach, where our six year old granddaughter found so many treasures, was almost like having a private beach and we enjoyed the quiet and solitude of Capehaven. Oh to hear and see the ocean from the MBR again - magical. We will return and want to thank you for sharing such an unbelievably beautiful home with us. |

Capehaven is much more than we expected! This new home offered amenities that we had never experienced: beautiful heated wood floors with individual thermostats in Every room, a stereo system with speakers to send music throughout the entire house with volume controls in Every room, and amazing lighting throughout the house with dimmer switches for Every light fixture. Combine all of these features together and you can really set the mood for a romantic getaway. The house was definitely custom built with comfort in mind, and Bob and Sue have decorated it to give you the feeling of really being at home.
If you're looking for great places to dine while you're visiting Cannon Beach, we have a few suggestions: "The Lazy Susan" is a great little place for breakfast--be sure to try their gingerbread waffles! Note that they're closed on Tuesdays, which we found out the hard way. Also be sure to try "Cranky Sue's" for a gourmet dinner and great little atmosphere. I'd recommend starting with her appetizer sampler (coconut shrimp, pan fried oysters and crab puffs), and if nothing else, save room for her homemade brownie sundae! If you find yourself craving crab pizza, they have a great little gourmet place downtown called Pizza a'fetta that makes a great pie. Should you find yourself looking for some good happy hour eats in Seaside, try McKeown's on Broadway (closer to 101 than the beach). Their fried artichoke hearts are delicious. If you find yourself just wanting to stay in, the house has a great kitchen with all the utensils and cookware you would ever need.
Friends of our family recently sold their vacation home in Lincoln City, but I think we've found a more than adequate replacement at Capehaven. We think Cannon Beach is hands down the best beach on the Oregon Coast and "Capehaven" is hands down the best place to stay! My wife and I are looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Bob and Sue!! |

| A quick note to say that we had a wonderful time at Capehaven. The house truly exceeded our expectations! It is beautifully decorated -- colors, furniture, etc... the owner spared no expense. Great views and location. We loved cooking in the gorgeous kitchen. When there, you don't feel like you're in a rental... it feels like a home. Thanks Capehaven... we'll be back again. | Capehaven is gorgeous. This is by far the best house we have rented. Our family of four business people, two teachers, and two of the most delightful 2 year old girls had a restful, happy time. My son was smart enough to bring a baby gate to secure the top of the stairs. The path to the beach is just a few yards away for unlimited wave chasing and splashing in tide pools. Thanks!! |

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The house is incredible and it is a three minute walk down a beautiful path to the beach. The beach is very secluded and not crowded. There are a number of areas to expore tide pools.
Arch Cape is in a great location that is accessible to a number of areas. I will certainly be staying in Capehaven again! |

OUR STAY WAS PERFECT!!! We absolutely loved your home. And it was very clean. We were actuaully suprized that you're willing to share such a beautiful home with strangers. We are planning another reunion next year and want to stay at your house again. I'm curious though. I have a degree in architectural studies, specializing in interior design and I can really critique any building I've been in (including my own home). But your home is flawless. I just have to say that the house is one of the best-planned, built, and furnished homes I've ever been in. You've done an excellent job and should be very proud. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. We hope to stay again next year. Thanks again, Vera
