| this is a magnificent setting. breathtaking harbor surrounding a peninsula property. island is unspoiled and 50% national park split between extraordianary woodland and harboside walks and the historic roosevelt summer home and museum. fdr's playable 9 hole golf course as well. several ferry boat and driving destinations offer both local color and amenities. great for decompression/rejuvination. |

| This spacious home is located on an incredible stretch of shoreline on a beautiful island. The location offers many opportunities to watch the tides and enjoy the plentiful wildlife. It was hard to leave our vacation home to take full advantage of all the hiking, biking and sightseeing in the area. |

My wife Phyllis and I along with another couple were here for week in June, 2008 and found it to be a very lovely and charming home and location. The location, on a point of land projecting into the bay, is probably the nicest on the entire island ! The island itself is beautiful with extensive shorelines, parks, walking and biking trails on dirt roads and truly a photographers paradise with lighthouses, rock formations and of course the FDR "Cottage". We would return in a minute. |
