Our party of 14 people rented this fabulous house the weekend between Christmas & New Year's. We had family members from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia & South Carolina attending. It was a perfect get-together in a perfect house.
This house had everything for our large group. The Murphy's were wonderful people to deal with.
We have already booked for the same time in 2008 and added another night.
I highly recommend this house to any large group!! |

| I fell in love with this house when we stayed there with our family last Christmas. I told my friends about it. We have a group of about 12 women who go to the Poconos every year for girls weekend. It started out to be 2 nights about 11 years ago and now it's up to 4 nights. It was a little hard for us this year, as one of our group passed away, but the house is beautiful and it was perfect for us. We would like to thank Bob and Linda for the use of their lovely home, and we hope to be back for many years. |

| This was our second summer to enjoy this comfortable house for 4 weeks, and we are already signed up for next year! Everything about it is convenient and easy to relax in...from the new king size bed, to the lovely new deck..to the nearby pools and lake. There is lots to see and do both in the area, and in the house...wonderful house for families or for a women's retreat! |

| We had the perfect family get together for Christmas weekend, and this house made it better! My parents came from Connecticut and my sister from South Carolina. We had a great time. The house was in perfect condition, the kids had plenty to do and we even found a place nearby to cut down our own Christmas tree. The owners went out of thier way to be helpful and provide extra information to make our stay more enjoyable. The next time we come up to the Poconos, we know exectly where to stay! |

| Our family enjoyed this property for 4 weeks this summer. It is fully equipped, comfortable, and easy to live in, and there is lots to do in the area for everyone. The owners go out of their way to be helpful. We found that the house was very functional, and served us well, whether there were two or 12 staying at any one time. I would highly recommend this house for any season, any time. |

We have now stayed at the Murphy house twice and both were great experiences. The house is set on a beautifully wooded lot, which gives it a nice amount of privacy. It is stocked with pretty much everything you need, including all new kitchen appliances. With four bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, there are plenty of bed options. The large dining table is perfect for eating meals together or playing board games. There is a huge selection of movies and the wood stove is a wonderful ammenity, with wood provided (a rarity for other pocono rentals)!!
The Murphys are very organized - they have a lot of helpful information about local attractions ready and waiting for renters at the house. The house is located within very close driving distance of the ski slopes, shopping outlets, lakes, restaurants and many other fun things to do. It is really a terrific vacation home and the Murphys are very efficient and helpful in the rental process - just a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend the Murphy house for anyone looking to enjoy some time in the Pocono Mountains!

| We went up for a ski weekend and loved the house. It was just what we expected and more. Lot's of room for all. King size beds and the kids loved the bunk beds. Great wooded lot and the kids went on wildlife hunt. Nice and close to the ski hills too. Would reccomnd and will come back again. |

We loved this rental. It truly accomodated 10 people easily. We loved the wooded area and seeing the deer daily. We enjoyed activities such as fishing at Brown lake (we caught enough fish to feed all 10 of us and still had leftovers), going to Bushkill Falls, and going on all the water rides at Camelbeach! The kids loved the pool and the sandy lakes! They are still talking about all the fun they had and can't wait to go back to do more. We highly recommend the home. We especially were thankful to Linda's patience and guidance during the entire process from reserving our time to all her recommendations of restaurants and attractions.

| My family and I just returned from the Chalet today and we miss it already. We had a wonderful time at the Murphy's. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed. We loved feeding the deer right off the deck and never grew tired of seeing them walking around the grounds. At one point there were 9 of us at the chalet and we had plenty of room to stretch out. We enjoyed so many pocono mountain attractions and dined on delicious coconut shrimp at Jonas Hotel. This was the perfect end to our summer. |

| What a Wonderful Spacious Chalet! and the Murphy's were fantastic! We came from Ohio and met friends there from Massachusetts. It was THE best meeting place. Everything was furnished - or at least it seemed so. There were dishes and spices and videos, and games and wood for the fireplace and just so many things that others don't provide. The table was really big and could seat at least ten people. We've been in chalet's before that sleep 10-15 people but only 4-6 can sit down to eat together, so this was great. Even on the deck there were two picnic tables - not just one. We also found the best tour guide who showed us all the great places to hike and then after a long day, the best places to eat. After dinner, our favorite pastime was driving around looking at the many deer. Couldn't believe there were so many in one place and so tame. The Murphy's think of everything. Thanks for a great time. |

| I came to the Murphy's mountain chalet in search of relaxation and spent a wonderful week there. Their lovely home has just the right balance of modern features and comfortable, serene surroundings, with lots of fun activities and stores within a short drive. Aside from the food, towels & personal items I brought, the house was well-stocked with everything else I needed (including a great selection of movies & terrific stereo system). When it came to venturing out, a thick binder of maps, menus & brochures was available to point the way. The Murphy's covered all the bases and I would definitely visit again. Last but not least, I really appreciated the courteous and timely handling of the rental agreement. The Murphy's provided very clear information and were always available/willing to answers my questions. As a first time Poconos renter, they certainly put me at ease. |

| We booked the Murphy mountain chalet for our annual wild women weekend to get away from kids/husbands/work and we had a blast. The great room was fantastic and the bedrooms were spacious. We had 10 people in the house and still had room for more, plus we never ran out of hot water...which was very important to us! We were given menus and such to local restaurants and attractions plus wood to burn in the woodstove. Didn't have to bring anything but our clothes and sheets...perfect! The owner was a pleasure to deal with all the way from executing the lease to answering my stupid questions. I have rented vacation homes in the Poconos for the last 15 years and there are only a handful I would revisit. This house and landlord are at the top of that list. I recommend them highly. |
