We stayed at the Backwoods Bunkhouse in Browns Gulch and before our stay was half over, we were talking about when we were coming back - soon - this summer. This place is quiet & peaceful and still has endless things to do, taking pictures, fishing, short or long, hard or easy, rides on the ATV's or snowmobiles. Or better yet- doing nothing but sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. AFTER STAYING HERE WE STOPPED LOOKING FOR ANYPLACE ELSE.

The Backwoods Bunkhouse is a great get away retreat home. Coming up the road, at dusk, we saw 6-8 deer grazing in a field and could hear the hooting from an owl as we stepped from the truck. When we return again this summer, to ride the trails surrounding the Bunkhouse, I can see us sipping coffee from the extended balcony or in bed watching through the french door, the rising of the morning sun. We would highly recommend this Bunkhouse to outdoor enthusiasts, a great place for 4 or 5 couples or 2 familes for riding snowmobiles in winter to ATVs in summer, along with fishing, hiking or just enjoying the fresh outdoors. We will be returning again in summer and winter for a get away vacation.

We had a wonderful experience at the "Backwoods Bunkhouse". The house was very comfortable and fit all of our needs. The views from the deck were priceless and the peacefulness of the surrounding areas were something we will never forget. Being able to find a vacation far from the craziness of living in a city was something we looked for for a long time. Our family will never forget being able to wakeup and not hear the noise of a busy city and being able to enjoy nature with our kids. We can't wait to go back again!!!
