My wife and I certainly enjoyed our stay at the Lowther Suites. The apt was quite spacious and was equipped with everything we could possibly want during our week in Toronto.
The location was great; in a real neighborhood, rather than a touristy area. We were able to walk everywhere, and when we wanted to use the train or bus, it was only five minutes away. Charles's description of everything about the apt was exceedingly accurate.We would certainly stay in the apt if we were to return to Toronto |

We, 2 adults and 17 months' baby, stayed at Lowther Suites for 2 weeks in August 2009 and really enjoyed our apartment 103 with its huge deck. There was actually no singe negative thing we could think of during our stay. Apartment was clean and has absolutely everything you may need even if you travel with an infant. Location was very quiet and very conveniently located - just 5 minutes walk from busy Bloor street. Housekeeper Arnel was prompt and very helpful.
We'll definitely try to book Lowther Suites for our next stay and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a decent and reasonably-priced accommodation in Toronto.

| We were very pleased to stay at Lowther suites during 3 weeks with our family to visit one of our daughters who lives in Toronto. The suite is very comfortable, the situation in Toronto is ideal, and we want to send particular thanks to Arnel, who was available and always answered to our questions very warmly. | Lowther Suites was an ideal location for us when we emmigrated to Canada from Australia. But it wasn't just its prime location, or the comfy beds that made it perfect. It was also Charles and Arnel who made our stay flawless. We corresponded with Charles before we left Australia and he did everything he possibly could to make us feel welcome and ensure the suite was just what we needed. We were greeted by Arnel who treated us like celebrities for our entire stay and Charles continued to check in with us throughout our stay, with a friendly approach and a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. We had the luxury of staying in both the two bedroom and one bedroom suites; both were comfortable, private and offered all the comforts of home. Situated steps away from the TTC, cafes and supermarket made living easy! Highly recommended. |

| We choose a suite at the Lowther Apartments for a week for our son's wedding in Toronto. It was a terrific choice for four adults and one toddler with plenty of room to move around and have people drop in for a visit. The location was the best, only a block from the subway and close to all amenities, including mere blocks to the ROM. We all loved the large bathroom and living room. The caretaker was attentive to all our needs and quickly produced items that were short or missing. The air conditioning worked well when required. We would stay there again. |

Hi Charles,
We had such a great time in Toronto but it is time
to leave. We loved staying at Lowther Suites.
Arnel was most responsive and helpful. The
apartment was spacious and comfortable. We really
felt at home. The location was outstanding. We
were so close to public transit which we utilized
extensively. The kitchen is well equipped and we
enjoyed taking breakfast there. Lots of closet space
and all the windows made it very light.
We would give Lowther Suites our highest
recommendation. We have stayed at VRBO listed
properties in New York, San Francisco and London
and yours was the best experience.
We look forward to returning to Toronto and
staying at Lowther Suites.

| The Lowther Suites are beautiful and well kept. The location is excellent - a quiet street but very close to Bloor for restaurants, subway, and such. Very close to excellent running paths. The two bedroom suite was perfect for my family. We would definitely stay again! |

| We selected the Lowther Suites when we came to Canada for our son's wedding. It was ideal and a much friendlier base than a hotel. It was in a great area and meant we could relax as a family. It was clean, modern and very well equipped. |

Didn't want to leave then it was time to go home. :)

Thank you for yet another great time at Lowther Suites. This was our second year in a row attending an international conference in down town Toronto in March and staying at the suites. What makes us return is the cleanness and freshness of the units, the brilliant location and atmosphere of the surroundings and the friendly and polite customer service that Charles always provides, before you leave home, during the stay and afterwards.
We are planning to come back to Lowther Suites for years to come and to recommend the place to other colleagues planning to visit Toronto.

| I have been staying at the Lowther Suites for about 6 months now, with approximately 6 more to go. The owner and super have been unfailingly polite and reliable, responding quickly and pleasantly to any questions or requests I have made. The ambience of my suite is very homelike and warm, and I feel amazingly comfortable here for a temporary residence. The neighborhood is also quite nice, quiet and central to Toronto with 2 subway stops within a few minutes walk and only a couple of blocks off of Bloor Street. |

Our entire experience with Lowther Suites was positve. The booking was very easy (we even added another night at the last minute). Charles was very helpful describing the area and nearest attractions. The Suite itself was just perfect. Located in a pretty neighborhood. Close enough to walk many places. It was clean and very comfortable. The building manager was extremely helpful and so kind. We are a family with 3 children and this was so much better than a hotel room. I would highly recommend Lowther Suites. |

Charles - I just wanted to write a quick note to say a BIG thank you! As you may recall, we were there for my sister's wedding and our extended family occupied most of the suites during that week of the Labour Day weekend. We all had a wonderful time at Lowther during our stay - the suites were very nice and comfortable and the area was so convenient to many of Toronto's sites(shopping/muesums/restaurants/taxis). Arnell was also very accomodating and gracious as well to any of our requests. You were wonderful in answering my questions from time of booking to departing and very thoughtful with our needs (ie: providing cribs). My family was very grateful to have Lowther suites as an alternative to hotels as this experience enabled us to be together and send my sister off from a "home". We will always have fond memories of Lowther & highly reccomend the suites to anyone.

| Lowther Suites is great! We stayed in 102, which had a large living room with a beautiful fireplace. Location was very convenient to U of Toronto and to the subway in a very nice neighborhood. Charles (who helped book our stay) was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying there, and would stay there again next time I'm in Toronto. |

my family was happy that I choose to rent apt suite, instead of hotal/motal. we were very impress the big both room and laundry washing & dryer machine. especially, kitchen with cooking tool. we can make a simple meal if we are not going out. 104 did not have big pot in kitchen and dish wash detergent, if you can add 2 different size of pot will be more convenience.
TV set was a little bit old. some of button was not work well.
we were happy that suite provided parking space. we did not have to looking for parking spec at night.
overall, I will rate this suite 90 out of 100. 4 1/2 star out of 5 star. |

As an update to this response, we have now replaced the TV's with LCD flat panel TV's (with new remotes). In addition, we have ensured that all suites have the necessary pots and pans. We appreciate the feedback, and the opportunity to upgrade our building based on our guest comments.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was an ideal place for mom to rest and relax as she went
through the radiation treatment for her type of cancer. The one bedroom suite (102) was very
spacious and allowed four of us to be here comfortably. It was nice to be able to cook, do
laundry, and walk to the Princess Margaret Hospital. As you promised, Lowther Suites was our
home away from home as we are from Nova Scotia and Toronto was the only option for mom's

Our stay was lovely. It was a pleasure to come home to such a relaxing atmosphere and the
location couldn't be more convenient for us as we love to walk the city. Unit 105 in particular is
very pleasant with lots of space and light. I believe someone else will be there in July from what
Christine/a(?) said which is too bad from our point of view. I'm sure the other two bedroom is also
lovely, if we are lucky enough to get the upgrade. And if not, the one bedroom will be comfortable.

I would like to heartily recommend Lowther Suites to anyone looking for a short stay furnished suite during
their medical visit to Toronto, Ontario. We found that the location, cost, comfort, and especially the people made a
stressful visit to an unfamiliar city into a wonderful experience.
Recently, my husband and I traveled from Vancouver BC, to Toronto, Ontario where my husband was scheduled for
open-heart surgery at Toronto General Hospital. As we were going to be a long way from home and family for at
least 2 weeks, we set out to find a home away from home. Lowther Suites, met all of our criteria and more.
What makes Lowther Suites so ideal?
~ Only 2 km from Toronto General Hospital, a pleasant walk or subway ride.
~ 1 1/2 blocks from the St Georges subway station – 2 stops from the hospital, a fast, safe, easy commute
~ 2 short blocks from a market and a Dominion grocery store, as well as other shopping
~ 5 short blocks from Yorkville and an amazing Whole Foods grocery store.
~ Located at 88 Lowther Ave, in a quiet, charming neighborhood of heritage homes, perfect
for post surgery strolling
~ The house is kitty-corner to a playground, near an elementary school. The reason I mention this, is
because the sounds of kids on their way to school or play was comforting and normalizing in a strange
and stressful time.
~ There are only 5 suites in the building, which make it very peaceful.
Our suite number 101, on the main floor, was a bright one bedroom, with a full living room, dining room and
kitchen, It was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and in wonderful repair. High speed wireless internet, phone and
fax allowed me to easily keep in touch with our family and friends. I really appreciated the hand written note that
the property manager Arnel had left for me, urging me to call him any time for any reason!
The cost of staying at Lowther Suites for 2 weeks, was less than staying at the Delta Chelsea, the hotel nearest to
the hospital. That isn’t even taking into consideration the difference between eating out every day and being able to
cook in our own suite. Plus, my husband had no desire to come home to a hotel room after his release from hospital.
Staying in a calm, quiet home environment was very therapeutic.
I encourage anyone in circumstances similar to ours to check out Lowther Suites.

Just about to email you. Everything was fantastic, as always. It was a beautiful flat. The thing I love about it is that it always feels so much like a proper home that one is coming back to. No problem getting in and I left the two keys in the safe deposit box when I left. Arnel was as pleasant as always. I shall always be happy to recommend this gem to anybody coming to Toronto. My only regret was not being able to see you, but with the weather the way it was, you were very sensible to stay in LA!

To the owners of Lowther suites, we just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time in Toronto and of course staying in one of your suites.
You may recall we were in suit 104 for most of December and we found it very comfortable and homely and of course in such a great location in terms of accessabilty.
Also we found Arnell to be a complete delight to deal with and so helpful.
