After a week in Paris, we delighted in our arrival in this small village and being guests of Monsieur Gordon! The gite was perfect: peaceful, nicely outfitted, and within close proximity to the castles of the region. Day trips are a pleasure, and you'll enjoy the day's end sitting on the terrace with the bottle of wine you purchased at a local winery. The mornings are a treat also: hearing the birds and roosters---taking a walk around the village lake is a must, especially after a full meal! Enjoy--We certainly did!!!

What a marvelous vacation spot! The countryside is beautiful; the gite was spacious, immaculate, and charming; the local residents were warmly receptive; and our hosts were fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. There is much to see and do in nearby towns, and every day of our week's vacation offered an exciting new adventure. This was a dream vacation!

We stayed at the Gite 3-9 August 2008 and had a lovely time. The rental property was clean and comfortable, with a terrific terrace from which we could view the pond, garden, and nearby meadow with our glasses of local wine. Our hosts were generous with knowledge of local activities and sights, plus good restaurants. The village is quiet, but near larger villages and convenient to Tours and Chateau de Chenonceau. We look forward to returning someday!
