| My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 6 weeks this year while he was being treated at Swedish Cancer Institute. It was a 6 minute drive for us to Swedish, what could be more perfect. We live 60 miles from this Capitol Hill location, but did not want to commute into Seattle 5 days a week. I looked at several apartments prior to renting from Ian. This was such a find. The apartment was so clean and comfortable which I loved, other rental opportunities were not. It was great to cook and do laundry in our own little place. We wanted to try to maintain some sense of our regular routine during this most stressful time. The location was so convenient for his daily treatments and had great shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, Starbucks, etc. within a few blocks. Capitol Hill is a charming neighborhood and very safe. It was perfect for us and Ian was very helpful in so many different ways. We had our car, but I believe Swedish would provide shuttle service to this location. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay for others in our situation or those on vacation or holiday. Rosemary, Camano Island |

Wow, cute, clean, home away from home, we loved it for what all it had. Walked and walked in your beautiful city and was able to catch the bus when ever we got tired and it brought us right back to the apt. No car needed, lots of shops and eatery near by and great coffee shops. Thank you and we had four days of sunshine while were there, we will come back with our children and rent the two bedroom next time. Thank you.

| My family of four (two boys aged 10 and 8)thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Seattle in July. The condo was very conveniently located, and we loved that we could walk to the local grocery store, coffee shops, neat shops, and a faily easy walk to get to Pike Place and the Space Needle (though on a hot day, the walk back to the condo all mostly uphill was a bit tiring :). The condo was well appointed, and when we requested extra bedding for the sofa bed it was delivered promptly! Thank you for a great vacation stay! |

| The Harrison Modern was so ideal for what I go to Seattle for. It was centrally located for touristy treks downtown (Pioneer Square, SAM, Pike Place Market) and days trips to the north and the islands (the U District, Edmonds, Whidbey Island); accessible to public transit; great neighborhood restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean, well-appointed, spacious and sunny. Just a perfect home away from home! I think I've stayed in my last Seattle hotel! |

| The Harrison Modern was a great place to stay. Convenient walk to downtown - pikes place market, space needle, etc... and also beautiful turn of the century homes in the area. Loved the little shops, groceries, and restaurants just a couple of blocks away. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would love to return ourselves. We loved Seattle! |

Great apartment - terrific neighborhood. Definitely met our expectations for comfort and value.
A guidebook about recommended places to visit and eat would put this over the top. |

| The apartment was spiffy and comfortable and the location was great. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed--all we needed! We were there for a family Bar Mitzvah and for my daughter to check out some colleges in the area. Except for the festivities we attended, we hardly explored Seattle, because the neighborhood around Harrison Modern was so hip and fun! Great restaurants and street life just two blocks on either side, but the apt. itself on a nice residential street. My daughter loved the neighborhood thrift stores! |

It was certainly our good fortune to have found the Harrison Modern. We stayed here during the week of Christmas since our son's home could not accommodate all our family. It was just a 10 minute walk for us although a slippery one this year.
We found the accommodations to be extremely comfortable and the decor very pleasing. It was spotless and had everything you could possibly want. We didn't spend enough time there to actually appreciate it to its fullest.
This is an ideal location from which to explore Seattle. I'm sure we'll be staying here again in the future.

| The Harrison Street apartment was a terrific choice for us. We walked to Seattle University, Pikes Market and Volunteer Park. The apartment was exceptionally clean and better than most 3 or 4 star hotels. Ian provides every convenience with extraordinary detail like metro bus schedules, maps, music CDs, current magazines and a well-equipped kitchen with coffee and filters. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to our next visit. |

My husband and I stayed here for several days with two friends. It was a perfect experience. Ian is a spectacular host, the apartment was hip, immaculate, airy and extremely comfortable.
We learned that we had stumbled into one of the coolest neighborhoods in Seattle after we arrived. We were a short walk to great parks, restaurants, coffee bars, gardens, you name it.
We really couldn't recommend the Harrison Modern more highly and we'll stay there again the next time we find ourselves in Seattle! |

I stayed here for almost two weeks with my wife and two young daughters. There was plenty of room and everything was spotless and well-stocked when we arrived. We always love having a kitchen when we travel. The kitchen here was clean and had everything that we needed for simple cooking.
Ian, the owner, was great... and what eclectic taste in music he has! You'll understand when you see the CD collection. :)
It's an excellent location: very close to a grocery and many, many restaurants. In two weeks we barely scratched the surface of what's available within just a fifteen minute walk of here. Granted, we were spending a lot of time away from the apartment, too.
The only minor negative is that one of the streets it's on is pretty busy and the traffic seems to start pretty early, so I wouldn't exactly call it "quiet." To me, this is the price you pay to be in the center of so much activity. I'll take that trade-off. It was hardly ever an issue for us.
We parked on the street and it wasn't bad at all. The furthest we ever had to park was about three blocks away and most of the time there was a spot on the corner.
You won't be disappointed! |

My son and I spent 4 nights in this 1-bedroom unit. It is very clean, and is attractively furnished with brand new furniture that has a sleek mid-century style. The bed was quite comfortable, and my son reports that the sofa bed was also comfortable.
The bathroom tub, flooring, walls, and toilet all appeared to be new. The kitchen sink and floors appeared to be new. All were spotlessly clean.
The unit is very well located just 2 blocks from the hip and busy section of Broadway that runs through the Capitol Hill district. The unit has a comfortable front porch and nice landscaping. Off-street parking was provided.
The unit was ready for occupancy; owner had provided coffee so we could make a pot in the morning. A hairdryer was also provided. The kitchen had a stove, oven and microwave.
We will definitely stay here again when we return to Seattle. This is an ideal location from which to visit this exciting city.
Ian -- thanks for your hospitality. |
