| We have just returned from staying at Jon and Liz's wonderful apartment on the Thames! It is a lovely, open home with a great view right on the river. Great set up with plenty of space and well stocked kitchen. Their hospitality and help with the details was outstanding - would definitely return. |

Needing an apartment for a hastily arranged break in London with our son and grandchildren, we felt fortunate to find Jon's apartment at short notice.
When we arrived we were even more delighted to find such a gem in an excellent location, with every facility of good quality that one could ask.
Jon and Liz's attention to detail in arranging the stay and providing info on the apartment and locality was very useful indeed and helped to make our short stay even more enjoyable.
We are happy to highly recommend this London experience. |

My partner and I took our mothers to
London for a “once in a lifetime” trip
for them and we rented the flat. The
apartment itself was gorgeous and
contained all of the necessary
amenities. The building was quiet and
located beautifully to allow incredibly
easy access via public transportation or
taxi to all of London. During our stay,
we had a minor plumbing problem and we
were all very impressed with how quickly
and efficiently the owners remedied the
situation. We would definitely stay
there again and we recommend it highly. |

| My wife and family all stayed at the Gun Wharf in Sepember 2009 while we holidayed in London.The best decision ever! The apartment is everything and more as described. Spacious and well able to accommodate our family of 5. Centrally situated close to everything with the greatest river views of the Thames ever. My wife and four of our friend stay in the apartment for five nights during a tours of Europe and England.The apartment was absolutely fantastic. So much space and the furnishing and facilities were first class.
The location of the unit for London sight seeing was perfect with the bus stop right at the front door. The Oyster card system for travel in London is the easiest way to get around and can be topped up at any time from the supermarket 100m from the unit. It was a pity the Wapping tube station was out of action but that could not be helped.
There were plenty of good English pubs within a short walk from the unit and we tried most of them for dinner each night. All were very accomodating and had good reasonably priced meals.
We could not fault the unit in anyway and the facilities provided were first class.
The outlook from the balconey was excellent and there was no noise from the river traffic. When we told locals were we where staying they could not be believe that we were able to get that type of accomodation so claoe to London and it activities.If we travel to London again I will certainly be staying at this location again. |

My wife myself and four of our grandsons visited Jons apartment in July 2009.The accomodation is first class. We found it to be spacious nicely furnished, in a good location, with safe parking.Jon is a very helpful guy who is very much on the ball.My wife and I are not the easiest to please but have no hesitation in recommending this exceptional accomodation.

Jon's descriptions of the how;s and what;s of the apartment and the area were very helpful. Riverside was fascinating, WApping was a lovely neighbourhood. There's an excellent (south)Thames walk from the apt. to Tate Modern. Don't miss it. |

We stayed here in June 2009 for one week. There were 5 of us and the apartment was perfect in every way. Location was the best we could imagine as it was in a really neat neighborhood (we went to most local businesses, especially the resturants). We really like the Town of Ramsgate Pub for bar food and beer. Transportion to and from the main London areas was fantistic (suggest getting an Oyster
Card. Jon Sayers organization was over the top. Great time, great place. |

| We stayed at the Gun Wharf apartment in April 2009. It was perfect for three couples. The location was great for walking and the bus and tube only one block away! It couldn't have been better located. The view of the Thames was magnificent. The apartment was very clean, spacious, well-stocked, and allowed privacy for each couple plus the common areas allowed relaxing times and great conversations. The local pubs and bakery were a plus! The apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood and very central to everything. Jon Sayers could not have been more helpful and very easy to work with. We give this apartment our highest recommendation! |

Without a doubt, this London Thames apartment is the 'jewel in the crown', which we would recommend to all potential guests.
Second time round, Ann and I have no doubts we will return again, the next time, hopefully, with some of our family and / or grandchildren.
Having just returned from London following 8 days in our 'nirvana', I can still visualise the 'ever-changing' scenes and counted 48 vessels sailing up and down the Thames in one hour last week. As an ex Master Mariner, the river traffic, the sound of lapping water below the balcony, the beautiful changing cloud formation, the birdlife and the ideal peaceful Wapping location was wonderful. The Wapping location with its friendly residents, lovely shops, and good restaurants is an ideal place to stay, and yet within 20 minutes from London centre.
I was born in the Isle of Skye and own a lovely croft and site on the Island where we have spent many memorable holidays, and the contrast is completely different, but yet the Thames apartment has a unique magic of its own. Wonderful!

| We have stayed at seven VRBO premier properties over the past several years and this was one of our favorites. The Sayers are excellent communicators and great ambassadors for Wapping/London. Our family of four loved the Sayers’ river-side apartment during Spring Break. The quiet neighborhood was fantastic. The #100 bus runs almost at a 10 minute pace towards the Tower of London and Liverpool Street Station only a few steps from the front door. We walked to the Wapping bakery every morning. The service at the upscale Pizza Express was top notch for my food allergy son. All the current London travel reference books by the front door were a great touch. We enjoyed watching all the river traffic at night with the lights from Canary Wharf in the background. The only issue we found was parking below the building the one night we needed a car was extremely tight for a station wagon. We would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends. |

Our family of four enjoyed the Sayers' apartment where we stayed the first week of April 2009. Everything was as advertised and we were well pleased. It was large enough to give everyone some space--important when traveling with two teenagers.
Jon is a good communicator, making for a smooth transaction. He was attentive to emails and did a great job of keeping us informed. Pauline does a tremendous job of keeping the place spotlessly clean and in working order. It was nice to meet her.
I would and will recommend this apartment to any London visitors.

Waking to the sunrise over Canary Wharf in the River BR with the sound Thames lapping at the shore makes you want to get out and explore! |

My husband, children and I just returned from a stay in this lovely apartment. We found it to be just as nice as the web posting suggests, actually it is even nicer and we are very particular about accomodations. There was lots of room for our family of four to spread out and allow everyone some space of their own.
Wapping is a lovely little enclave in the city. Very convenient - all times of the day and night - by using local bus service to access the Tube at the Tower of London.
The local shops - just a few steps outside apartment door - have everything you need to happily settle in. The vendors are very helpful in meeting your needs and answering any questions you have. The local restaurants and pubs Jon suggests are wonderful - try the Italian and the Prospect of Whitney pub.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals in the apartment. I love to cook so I always want to prepare one great meal while we are on vacation - try the Borough Market at the London Bridge for some gourmet treats to prepare in the apartment.
We would happily rent this apartment again and urge others to do so without any hesitation - it will not disappoint. |

I'm a huge fan of the UK and frequent traveler in London and England, but I'm never enjoyed a stay in London more than in the Sayers' beautiful Thames-side flat. The facilities are lovely and worked beautifully traveling with my daughter and her husband and even hosting friends of theirs currently studying in England. We stayed from Christmas to a few days after New Years in 2009.
The flat is spacious and has a beautiful kitchen. Touches of hospitality such as the many guide books and information about the area helped us plan our day trips and London excursions. The flat has all that a guest needs, but doesn't feel sterile. It feels like a home.
The Wapping neighborhood, just a 10-15 minute walk from the Tower, felt a bit like any English village while allowing easy access to all of London. Local restaurants, the shops, bakery, the car hire service, etc. made it easy to live as residents while visiting a wonderful city. We ate in the lovely flat with a beautiful kitchen when we chose, and we ate out at wonderful restaurants and fun pubs just a few steps from the flat.
The tides on the Thames were fascinating to watch as were the fireworks shot up by dozens of sites across the fire on New Year's Eve. It made us feel a special connection with London.
On a side note, I fell and broke my wrist very badly on this trip. Pauline, the Sayers' local contact, and the Sayers themselves were wonderful and very helpful as I tried to decide about having surgery in London or at home. They took the pressure off a little as they offered all kinds of help and concern.

| Wonderful flat in a great neighborhood, easy walk to Tower Bridge or a step outside to the bus. The three bedrooms, each with their own bath is very convenient. The view of the Thames is great as is the entire apartment! Very easy to book and get access - we would recommend this flat over and over. We feel very lucky to have found this place and wonderful people to deal with as well. |

The Sayers' apartment in Wapping, London is stunning. Spacious, modern, spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Views from the balcony are terrific. There's a bus stop just outside and it's an easy walk to the Tower Bridge. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. My husband,
mother, mother-in-law and I loved our stay in the apartment and would love to go back. The Sayers were incredibly helpful and made the whole transaction effortless. I highly recommend this apartment.

| My two friends and I were thrilled with this Wapping flat. When we entered we realized the photos online do not do it justice. It was gorgeous inside with an amazing view, and the neighborhood and people were very nice. We easily walked to the Tower of London, across Tower Bridge, and even down to the Tate Modern. All 3 of us agreed we'd happily return with our families to the Sayers' flat at Gun Wharf. |

The arrangements were represented exactly as we experienced during our week in London. The arrangements getting in the flat and the responsiveness of the owners was great. Transportation was convenient, and will be perfect once the Wapping tube station reopens. After hunting long and hard for anything to say negatively, the only thing the family could come up with was that the dryer was painfully slow! Great flat, great locations and great owners that ensure a positive experience. Would go back in a second. |

| This riverside apartment in Gun Wharf in London was absolutely spectacular. Everything was brand new and keep beautifully clean and shiny. You can sit in the living room and watch all the activity on the River Thames(how great is that). It was just a wonderful rental and the apt. was extremely spacious.It's a 15 minutes walk to London Bridge station or you can catch the bus steps away from the apt. There is a tiny village a block away with a bakery, grocery etc. The owners are so lovely, nice and accomodating and so easy to work with. We will certainly stay here again. Can't say enough great comments about it. You'll love it as we did! |

| We had a marvelous stay at the warehouse apartment. We found the accomodations spacious, modern, well kept, and well equiped. The apartment is well situated for those traveling without a car (a bus stop is just outside the front door). Note there are 3 stops on wapping st., you want the 3rd stop. We found the docklands neighborhood to be welcoming and quiet. Restaurants are conviently nearby. We would definitely recommend this apartment to others. |
