We wanted a place to get away for a quiet weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and out of the way, but plenty of room for our kids and grandkids.
Everything we needed was right there on the property, so we never left. We spent time in the game room, sitting outside, cooking and grilling, reading, and relaxing. The new hot tub was a great way to end the day. Our greyhound loved roaming the fenced property and getting the opportunity to stretch her legs and run.
We had 6 adults and 2 children ranging in age from 2 to 50. We will have to use the access to the water park the next time we stay here |

We enjoyed staying here. The house is comfortable and out of the way. Just what we were looking for in regards to getting away from the hustle and bustle of Houston. It takes about 3 hours or so to drive to Wimberley from Houston.
The home has a full kitchen, a grill outside, a washer and dryer which is available to use and a game room seperate from the house. The hottub was out of order when we stayed, but the owners took that into account and lowered the price of the home for us. I was appreciative. They were in the process of having this fixed.
They also provide a key to a park that is on the Blanco river and is only a mile or so away from the home. This was great and we were down there everyday that we stayed.
If you are looking for an out of the home with access to the river this is a great place to stay. Enjoy. |
