On behalf of the US Coast Guard Academy Class of '99, we were very impressed with the cleanliness, charm, and location of this warm home. This house enabled friends to see each other and catch up on our lives while sharing some old-time laughs. Speaking of which, I really dig your "Live, Love, Laugh" theme. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. We had a great time! New London was everything I imagined and more. The house accommodated all of us comfortably and had plenty of room to sit, talk, and relax. We enjoyed the walks in the neighborhood and all this area had to offer. It was so great to have 8 adults and two children come together under one roof for such a special occasion as a wedding! The beds were comfortable and the temperature perfect for a fabulous weekend. We loved Guthrie Beach and Michael's Dairy. The close proximity to Mystic and the Navy base was great. The 3rd floor had tons of toys for the 7 kids in attendance. There's also a great kids park behind Michael's Dairy. Great big house for a great time!

Your house is a great rental. It is a perfect location, quiet neighborhood, close to everything and the house itself has everything anyone would ever need. The 3rd floor is the best! I read the diary of past renters and agree with them entirely. We as a family were either upstairs playing with the kids on the 3rd floor or relaxing on the porch. We West Coast visitors
don't really have porches so we enjoyed sitting on the front porch visiting, watching, reading, relaxing etc.

The four of us celebrated our 50th birthdays (two years late). Two of our members couldn't fly in because of hurricanes in Florida. The four of us had a great time and our host could not have been more thoughtful, even leaving a poker table with chairs and cards all ready to go. We swam, played tennis, played cards, had Mystic Pizza, and generally had fun. Thanks so much.

Ten family members from five states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and Rhode Island) gathered for a wedding here. Some had never been to New England before. Staying at your house was just like coming home - right down to Gram's claw foot tub! We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

In ten short days, lifetime memories were created. A new experience for many - a wonderful opportunity. We found this area to be a perfect location for entertainment, great food and the calm relaxing time sitting on the shore and swimming were exactly what we wanted! We found the house comfortable, with many amenities. Our girls especially loved the 3rd floor.
Carolyn and Randy are fantastic! We extend our appreciation to these wonderful people. It would be our hope to return in the future as these are ten days we will never forget!

Yesterday we went to Jamm's (Mystic) and had amazing seafood, and then went to the cute little shops in Olde Mystic Village. Then we went to Guthrie Beach for a swim. Today we went downtown and ate at an amazing restaurant and the people were so friendly. Everyone is friendly in this neighborhood. We had phenomenal ice cream at Michael's Dairy (up the hill, take a left, it's on the right - two minute drive). This house is beautiful and comes with everything plus more!!! Well tonight we are having steak and grilled corn. Can't wait! It's too bad we only have 2 days left.

Hey! We've decided to do a diary-kind of log for the next few days! We appreciate this vacation more than you could imagine. Our first day was cool, and Carolyn was super-cool when we arrived. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL! And although we know you've heard this a lot, the third floor was awesome - especially the Dance Dance Revolutions! We went down to Fred's Shanty for ice cream (which was de-lish!). Can't wait to go exploring tomorrow!

A great house in a great location! Thanks for providing everything we needed. I especially enjoyed the backyard, the lovely quilts, the bird songs, and the shady trees. The food at the Recovery Room by the hospital was excellent. The food/atmosphere at Lou Au's (in Groton) was very fun. Mystic Seaport was entertaining and educational.
My whole family (all 11 of us at times) kept repeating: "What a great place! We are so lucky to have found this!"

A wonderful home away from home! We enjoyed inviting the rest of our family to join us in the backyard. We were here for my granddaughter's wedding and your cozy home was the "frosting on the cake"!
I really can't begin to list all the wonderful places that were so within our reach - the little beach down the street, Mystic Seaport, Harkness Park, Ocean Beach Park, etc.
I'd prefer to stay in this 1917 home over any fancy hotel!

Well-furnished house. Great location - there are so many interesting things to do that are close by and easy to get to. Randy, thanks for bringing the bicycles by! This is a great cycling town. I live in and cycle daily in Atlanta - the worst city in the country as far as drivers' attitudes toward cyclists. New London is the best cycling city I've ever been in.

We loved the Harbor View House! It was fun staying home or exploring the area. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable (great beds!), clean, and great for entertaining.
