| Perfect location for a couple's getaway. We had a wonderful time at the cabin and it is close to Glacier National Park and Whitefish. The accommodations were great, and there is nothing better than soaking in the hot tub on a clear Montana night. This was by far the coolest cabin that we have stayed at. |

| My sisters and I stayed at Braidwater for an “all girl’s” vacation in early June and we had a wonderful time. The ambiance of the place had an almost magical quality to it. We were very comfortable there and cooked most of our meals in the very well equipped kitchen. Although we had no children with us, I could tell that this would be an ideal place for children as there were lots of books and games to keep them occupied if they weren’t outside exploring. The location was perfect, close enough to Kalispell, Glacier, and Bigfork so we did not feel that we were spending too much time driving back and forth. The grounds are beautiful with wonderful fields, lots of friendly horses to visit and the river a very short walk away. Although we were not there at the time of year to enjoy the harvest of the organic garden we were able to see all the vegetables and fruit trees coming in and it was amazing. I highly recommend this place to any group or family who wants a special memory of the Kalispell area. |

Comment Text: Our family of three celebrated Christmas at Braidwater in 2008, and we highly recommend it.“Luxury” doesn’t come close to describing all the special amenities in this rental. We cooked a complete Christmas dinner (and many desserts)in the fully-equipped kitchen. Greg Nelson is a master craftsman and Gina is an artful designer. Together they have created a well-appointed and architecturally lovely living space. This apartment is full of light from the extensive use of large exterior windows, interior clerestory windows and glass doors. Our daughter enjoyed the large loft bedroom with double bed, accessible by ladder. The open living space is divided into three levels. We were toasty warm with central heat and the woodstove, and easily traveled the short distance to town through the snow in our Rav4. The car has its own parking space within the heated barn. Gina, Greg and their children are gracious and generous hosts, but never intrusive. Braidwater Farm is blessed with stunning views of the Swan Range. The apartment feels magical and the "barn" is like a Norse Great Hall inside. We have already booked our next visit. Davis, CA`

Wow! It really is a great place. I'm Greg's younger brother and stay at Braidwater with my family when we are in the Flathead. The place is chalk full of wildlife and its location is central to the activities of the Flathead. The Cottage and grounds stunning. Having been subject to my older brothers rule for so many years the complements I pay him are rare. Greg and Gina are great hosts and out did them selves building Braidwater. Cheers, Doug Nelson |

A beautiful, tranquil setting, comfortable quarters, and attentive, gracious hosts. What more could you ask for in a MT vacation rental? How about an extremely well appointed kitchen, easy access to "civilization" and all the indoor and outdoor activities a group of 2 families could ask for! In July, we (4 adults and 5 teenagers) gathered at Braidwater for a week of relaxation and fun. Our favorite activities included: hiking in Glacier Park, floating on the Flathead river, cherry & huckleberry picking on the Braidwater property, soaking in the hot tub at sunset, soccer & badminton games on the lawn, and (our kids' favorite), jumping on the trampoline. Gina and Greg are generous, thoughtful and knowledgeable hosts. We loved spending time at Braidwater!! |

Homeowner Response:
We did indeed have a fine cherry crop last year, and I was impressed with your pie. We had another great crop this year too, but as I recall you picked your huckleberries on Big Mountain in Whitefish, a.k.a. Whitefish Mountain. Our elevation is not quite high enough for huckleberries. Would love to see you all again sometime. Gina.
