What can I say about Casa Rosada other than magical!!! It could very well be the greatest spot on earth. The marine iguanas that you share the house with are awesome and the views outstanding. I had the most wonderful time and would love nothing more than to go back soon!!!

Our stay at Casa Rosada could not have been more perfect. The house is beautiful and clean, and located (I'm convinced) on the best beach in the Galapagos Islands. There are literally hundreds of Marine Iguanas scattered around the porch and rocks outside the house. We returned from wonderful tours each day to delicious home cooked meals, and relaxed in the hammocks drinking passion fruit juice. I stayed there for about a week with 6 other family members and it was the best vacation we've had in years. Thanks Claudia!

Beautiful location!! Lovely home on a gorgeous beach paradise. The owners are the only house along the beach to maintain an area for marine iguanas, so be prepared to marvel at them day and night. This is one of the last homes on the road, yet the town is about a 1/4 mile walk away. Great spot for families or a romantic getaway. Enjoy! |

I spent 2 weeks at Casa Rosada in Isabela, last January. It was one of the best trips in my life. Isabela is a land paradise, the location of the house can¨t be better. The owner, Claudia, is a super friendly woman who recommended all the best tours to make the most of my trip. She was always right, and scuba at the Corona del diablo with rays, sharks, octopuses, sea turtles, sea stars ans so many other incredible species is something I will never forget. Food was great, particularly the homemade octopus ceviche, the catch of the day in full moon "canchalaguas", and the tuna sashimi. I really felt myself at home, and loved the relaxed atmosphere of the house. Beach volley, right next to the house and the well deserved beer after it is a must, and gave me the opportunity to make new friends, both turists and some locals. I cant wait to go back next summer cause i can¨t wait to meet my new frinds, the incredible Iguanas that, just like me, loooove to lay on the Sun at the Mirador balcony of Casa Rosada!

I stayed at the casa rosada in March, 2008 with a group of friends and family. We had an absolutely unforgettable experience there. The location directly on the beach was phenomenal, the iguanas were amazing, the tour guide and cook made the trip completely stress free and enjoyable. I highly recommend this vacation home to anyone interested in seeing the Galapagos. Unlike the other habitable islands in the Galapagos, Isabella still retains the "other worldly" and undeveloped beauty of the Galapagos islands. If you go though, go soon. In twenty years, this town will be a developed tourist site. Right now, it's an amazing destination that retains the authentic, pristine flair that Darwin so aptly described.
