Alas we have to leave much too soon! This has been an oasis of peace; beautifully secluded while charming, with lots of attention to details, making us feel comfortable and most welcome.
We loved being able to walk to the beach and very much enjoyed the delightful garden where we spent much time talking, playing chess, and gazing at the evening sky.
Thank You Lisa for your flexibility in accomadating us at such short notice.

Great low-key & easy place - super practical location-wise. Close to airport, close to fancy places like Palm Beach...yet you can spend a very lazy day with kids at home and end the day on the beach 3-toddler-walking minutes away!!
The house is split beautiful for sharing families - we were 2 families: one of 2 adults + 1kids; the other 2 adults + 3kids
The above ground pool w/removable ladder, for us was a MAJOR plus having little kids running around!!
Lisa was attentive to our needs!

Wish we could stay longer. THe weather was sunny & hot just the way we like it! We are heading back to Montreal to 20 inches of snow!

| Booking a vacation rental online and from a private owner is something that we were somewhat hesitant about. However, this home is everything it promises to be! Even with nine people (six of them teens), we never felt crowded. It is very spacious and clean. The beds were fabulous and all the furniture is very nice and comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our much too short stay here! |

The Shaw Family celebrated Christmas, 2 birthdays, and a great reunion of our family - Mn, NY, Atlanta, California and Ohio was represented. We loved the Jacuzzi and Cabana Shower, the Grill and
outside dining setup.The boys loved the TV sets for their

Having a wonderful house in a great location goes a long way when traveling with 21 month old twins. Add on to that very accommodating and helpful owners and you get spoiled and do not want to leave. That was our experience staying at this property. The layout of the house allows for plenty of privacy when desired. The outdoor spaces are beautifully appointed and maintained. We hope to return to this property next year for two weeks instead of just one. Many thanks to Lisa & Ken.

We had a wonderful wedding here on Aug. 23rd, 2003. It was beautiful! All of our guests enjoyed the event, including the ceremony on the yacht that picked us up on the waterway behind the house.
We spent 2 wonderful weeks here including walking across to the beach on a regular basis and saw alot of south Florida with our day trips.
Thank you Ken & Lisa for allowing us to use this beautiful house and thanks to Ken for coming over and helping us with the yard on the day of our wedding.

My husband and I were looking for the perfect vacation home rental as a venue for our wedding. After a lengthy search, we were truly happy to find Lisa and Ken’s Pompano Beach home. The amenities were exactly as described, and the garden/deck area served as a gorgeous background for our intimate wedding ceremony (You must see the grand old tree in the center of the deck!). We were able to accommodate ourselves and both sets of parents, plus our brother and sister, which greatly helped to create the family unity we desired. And Lisa was extremely gracious and helpful in the planning of our wedding.
We would like to thank Lisa and Ken again for making this stay most memorable for us.

What a grand place to vacation! Our entire family spent a week in March in the lovely Pompano Beach house and we can't wait to nail down another time to book Lisa and Ken's place again. The house itself truly is spacious, airy, light, and convenient. One certainly doesn't have to stumble over other guests!
This was our third attempt at renting by owners. The first two were less than thrilling so we spent a few anxious moments until we saw the house! Excellent! | My family and I stayed in this house for one week during the New Year period in 2002/2003 as I was getting married in Fort Lauderdale on New Years Eve. We had a fabulous time. The house is very clean, fresh and modern. The location you just cannot beat - very close to the beach and shops. The owners of the property made us feel at home the moment we walked in through the door. I would not hesitate to stay there again. |
