| The home exceeded out expectations. The home is located just a few walking minutes from the center of Fira, but far enough from the tourist center. It was also great to have a little market by our home to get anything for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The photos on the website don't show all of the beauty it has to offer. It was very spacious and the balcony was a very relaxing place. The kitchen had all the necesities and more. The bathroom in the traditional architecture with new and modern faucets. The A/C was a plus! Thank you Christine who welcome our family to Fira and provided us with maps highlighting the places to see on our vacation! |

The villa is even more spectacular than the photos portray! It truly is a unique and welcome respite at the end of the day and a wonderful way to engage the beginning of a day in Santorini, with a cup of gorgeous coffee, a pastry and a book on the upper of TWO terraces! I travelled alone, and the idea of staying in an anonymous hotel was not appealing. The villa allowed me to immerse myself in the local culture, greet my local neighbours, and feel more like a citizen instead of a visitor. Christine, the host, made many superb suggestions of some off the beaten path places to visit and eat. They were all spot on in terms of an authentic Santorini experience. There is so much to do every day, and Christine was instrumental in ensuring you see the best of the island, as well as providing a cell phone for convenience and expediting a convenient transport to and from the airport. it is clear that she has a real passion for the people and the island, as demonstrated with her great affable charm! Everyone knows and loves her! The location is a gem, as it is so close to Fira , yet far enough away to enjoy quiet mornings and sublime sunsets. i always woke up to the sweet sound of donkeys making their way up to the caldera! Close by are little family run markets for fresh bread and groceries. There is a wonderful car rental place with a convenient parking lot nearby. The decor was traditional with a very well equipped kitchen, modern bath and big comfy bed. The space is luxurious in an authentic way with lovely antiques, beautiful textiles. It feels like a home that people truly love. I would not consider staying anywhere but this villa on my next visit. It was beyond my expectations! |

What a dream!!! The Villa was perfectly amazing! I didn´t want to leave. Stayed a few nights and can´t wait to return. So peaceful and calm it was. Spent my days travelling and exploring the Island, swimming, beaching, experiencing the hidden spots, eating fantastic food, and meeting some fantastic locals. The villa really is an oasis to return to after a day out. Love the decor, so comfortible and traditional. Christine is fantastic! Made all the arrangements and had all the answers. She made it really easy! Her passion for the place is clear. Ya couldn´t find a better spot or have a better person to help with all the logistics. Book it and have a great time! I´ll be back for sure! Ken

| May.08 We just returned from a heavenly stay at this traditional villa ! The village location was perfect - short walk into Fira and to the Caldera area - but felt far away from the throngs of tourist hotels and guests. The terrace area was completely private, and it was beautiful to sit on the terrace lounge and hear the sounds of the real Santorini life ! The families walking by, the faint sounds of local music, children playing, and the light ringing of bells as the donkeys were passing by in the walkway - wonderful ! The villa is traditional in decor, mixed with modern touches, convenient kitchen, lux bedding and outfitted with a modern bathroom. All the doors and windows open to the very private terrace on both the main and second floor. It truly felt like local living, and we loved walking to the corner store to stock up on fresh bread, fruit and coffee. It was great getting a car to travel around the entire island ! We were always able to park it close to our villa's path - and were armed with maps and hi-lites to see that were provided by the Amazing Property Manager Christina ! We were given a local cell phone to contact her for any advice - and she was always on hand to help us make our vacation a truly memorable experience with suggestions geared to our taste. It wouldn't have been the same fantastic trip had we stayed at a hotel - and not had Christina's enthusiastic welcome, knowledge and guidance! I stayed there with my 19 year old son, who bunked in the main floor bedroom - I took the double on the top floor - and we both enjoyed the villa, and the location very much. We will never forget our first trip to Santorini, the Renaissance Villa, or the incredible spirit that Christina brought to our stay! |
