We just returned from a week at Sounds Good. It
is a beautiful house. The owner was very
responsive to all of my questions. The pool/hot
tub area is very private compared to other houses
in the neighborhood. it is a short 5 minute walk to
the beach. We had a distant view of the ocean and
lake view. The house is within walking distance of
Food Lion, bike and kayak rentals and a few
restaurants. Many other good restaurants and
shops are just a quick drive. We would definitely
go back! |

| We rented this house June 27-July 4, 2009. This home is well taken care of and had plenty of room for our group of 11 and 2 dogs. We have vacationed on Hatteras Island for 16 years and this was by far our best rental experience. We will no longer be using a rental company. You will not go wrong by renting this house! | We just returned from a week at this beautiful home in Avon. The pictures do not do it justice! It is extremely open and spacious, yet homey and comfortable. Within walking distance is the beach, Food Lion plus other shops and restaurants, and beautiful nature walks throughout Kinnakeet shores. There were four adults and 6 children in our party and there was more than enough space for everyone. The kids loved the rec room w/ pool table, tv, and easy access to the pool and hot tub. Ocean and bay views are lovely from this home. The owner is extremely pleasant, easily accessible for questions and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we had one of the best vacations ever! Can't wait to come back... |

Look no further! From first contact thru the end of my vacation I could not have had a more enjoyable experience. The house is an absolute beauty, clean, spacious, quiet, convenient, and I absolutely expect to stay again (hopefully this year). Dealing directly with the owner of the home was easy, professional, and a very smooth transaction from start to finish. I looked into 30+ homes and agencies in the area and they kill you with fees, fees, fees, and when you think you are done more fees!
The owner of this home delivers a great service, clean home, and a 100% wonderful experience! Do not hesitate to contact me directly for a direct reference or to hear why/how the agencies are bad to deal with.
