We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Antiqua in Rome. The 3BR/1BA Antica unit was exactly as pictured and described. The location could not have been better, and our family of 5 (6 including Grandma!) was very comfortable and relaxed - and was able to walk to every Rome location, including the Roman Forum and Colisseum. The public bus lines are a short distance away, and the neighboring businesses (panini shop, restaurants, and GELATO - critically important, of course) were very close and also filled with very friendly, helpful people.
I would not hesitate to return to Casa Antica and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable - no, DELIGHTFUL - place to stay in Rome. |

We stayed in the Antiqua apt in June of 2009. We utilized the 3BR and 1 bath unit. Our family of 5 truly enjoyed the layout having enough space. Although we didn't eat in much, having the kitchen for breakfast and snacks was great. The location is superb, only minutes from most/all major attractions. We walked everywhere very comfortably. Also, we enjoyed the immediate area with it's options for groceries, restaurants and bars. Emanuele was a great host and resource, arranged our transportation to and from the airport (even a 4am departure); and made sure we felt comfortable with everything and that he was available if we had any questions. We had a wonderful vacation and the accomodations were a big part of that.

We stayed at this apartment for three nights prior to a cruise out of Rome. The location is excellent - what a GREAT find! Convenient to the Vatican, and everything within walking distance. We enjoyed the local pizzerias and gelato. Located in quiet & peaceful neighborhood with shopping, attractions, entertainment and restaurants near by. Everything we needed was there in the apartment including tourist maps. Emanuele was wonderful and helpful. He made it so easy and was helpful with suggestions of things to do and even arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport - what a blessing! We highly recommend this apartment for anyone travelling to Rome. Just practice on the stairmaster for a couple of weeks before! Thanks again!

We stayed in the Antiqua apartment over New Year's - it was a wonderful stay. The apartment is very well equipped and was simply lovely. Our group consisted of two couples and one single person - it met our needs perfectly. The kitchen was fantastic - it had everything we needed. The location was perfect - steps to Piazza Navona, the Vatican, great restaurants, etc. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed in one of the apartments over Christmas 2008. My brother and his son stayed in a smaller apartment above us owned by the same people. It is run by Emanuele Buffa whose family owns three apartments in the building. You could not ask for a better location. Right across the bridge from the Vatican, down the street from Piazza Navona, lots of good but reasonable restaurants. We walked every where and saw everything. There were 5 of us and it was much easier than staying in an apartment. We cooked dinner for 7 quite easily. The kitchen is well equipped. The upstairs apartment has a small washing machine altho it lacks a full kitchen - still a good place for a couple. The owners are very hospitable. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
