November, 2009. We truly enjoyed our weekend at the Carriage House. It was cozy and comfortable, extremely well-stocked, and large enough for the four adults and four dogs in our group. The completely fenced back yard was a plus for the dogs (poop scooper provided, too). The gas fireplace took care of the morning chill quite nicely. Even though it is in a neighborhood, it has a very secluded, private feel. The owners obviously shared their "home" with us, not just a house. Chalk up another positive experience through the VRBO system! |

We enjoyed our 10 days in June so much that we eagerly returned in late August for nearly 3 weeks. The house is filled with lovely (and comfortable) furnishings, has a well-equipped kitchen, and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed sunrises on the front deck (great outdoor furniture) and then adjourned to the backyard patio (table and chairs under a wisteria-laden cover) for breakfast. Bluejays, hummingbirds, dove... a walk-around garden in the backyard with fresh herbs... something of interest from every deck and patio. The house's three large bedrooms are equally attractive, each has a TV, excellent bed/mattress, upscale bathroom. The large living areas give guests the opportunity to be together - or apart - for visiting, card playing, watching TV, or daydreaming. Location is another plus. Settled on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood, it's less than five minutes down the hill to Safeway, WalMart, Walgreens... and 4 miles to historic downtown Prescott. We found this to be the very best option for escaping our summer heat, and anticipate returning in 2010.

This was our first time at a vacation rental home and what a great experience it was. The location is great, the decor beautiful...and very comfortable, especially the beds! We so enjoyed the backyard barbeques and then watching the moonrise from the balcony. It's a perfect blend of quiet and privacy, yet close to downtown. Everytime we thought of something we might need, sure enough it was there. Thanks again!

My husband and I, our daughter, son-in-law and 2 children spent a wonderful weekend in Prescott. The Carriage House is decorated so warmly and cozily. The kitchen is beautifully set up. The backyard is awesome and private. We felt totally at home and would stay here again.

Carriage House was everything we hoped for . . . and more! We went there with another couple and their toddler so having two master bedrooms was great. The house was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen. It's also perfectly located about 7 minutes from the Town Square, but still secluded enough to provide the privacy we wanted. We will definitely stay there again the next time we're in Prescott.

We would definitely stay here again. It is a very comfortable, roomy house only about a 5 minute drive from downtown Prescott. The house is pet friendly and the yard is huge. The owners were very accommodating and clearly have pride of ownership.
