We enjoyed the stay on the Cumberland River. The cabin was clean and very secluded. The fishing wasn't good, because the river was really swift.Other than that we had a good time.

This followed heavy rains and the "swift" was less than 4MPH. The river was back to normal within 3 days.

We were fortunate to find this rental on the Cumberland River. Loved the ferry ride across the Cumberland - sure beats interestates and turnpikes.
Counted nine deer out in a field one morning, and an endless variety of birds flying into the feeders on the balcony overlooking the river - my personal favorites, hummingbirds and cardinals. My fisherman-husband was absolutely in heaven and loves to show off his pictures of the 27 inch brown trout caught at the end of the boat ramp, just a few steps right out the kitchen door. The peace, quiet, and privacy is beyond compare.
We were comfortable and cozy. We have found a new vacation destination and can't wait to go back soon. It was definitely a memorable vacation.
