We spent 2 months (July 15 thru Sept. 15) in the Grand Bay View Cottage. It was a darling place, decorated well, and very neat and clean. Lynda has taken special care to ensure that it is well stocked with all of the necessities. It was a very comfortable home, and the views from the front porch, and bedroom upstairs were incredible! My husband and I enjoyed watching all of the activity on the water-all of the beautiful sailboats, and the giant container ships! We even occasionally heard a sea lion talking from the bay! The location was perfect for us-very close to town. Sausalito is a beautiful little gem right outside of San Francisco. We were able to take the ferry over to the city, we went to Jazz by the bay every Friday evening at the local park in Sausalito, we drove north a short distance to wine country, we explored the other small towns close by: Mill Valley, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Tiburon. We took the ferry from Tiburon to Angel Island. There is just so much to do in the area!

My family & I can't say enough about our wonderful stay at your property. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Nicely furnished and well equipped. And the view really is spectacular.
Lynda, meeting you was like seeing an old friend-we really will have to get together and drink the wine that we didn't have time for (because of our relatives running us ragged.)

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage! It is so charming inside, wonderfully decorated and very clean. The porch has a fantastic view of the bay and we thoroughly enjoyed boat watching and the breathtaking horizon, especially with the bridge and boats all lit up at night.
The location of the cottage couldn't be better as it's close enough to walk to the grocery store, take a stroll along the bay, or to go into town for a nice meal, yet just off the main drag to ensure privacy and quiet.
The 'finishing touch' has been added to each room and area of the cottage and that attention to the details truly enhanced our trip as it felt like home while we were there. We could relax in private, cook our own meals if we wanted and spend time inside or out while still feeling right at home.
Above all, we couldn't have asked for better hosts than Bob and Lynda, they are wonderful and were always so helpful.
I hope to come back and stay here again soon!

Watching the stunning views of San Francisco Bay maritime life just add to the charm of this wonderfully located, perfectly appointed cottage.
Eating al fresco on the deck out back of the kitchen or in the cute sun-trap garden filled with Lavender, tulip trees and other lovely plants was delightful and reminded us of home in the South of France on all those perfectly sunny days.
Twenty minutes into the city, five minutes from the ferry, yet quiet and nestled close to downtown Sausalito. What more do you need.
We stayed 5 months over the winter and Lynda was a perfect host at all times, responding to our every need, making it a wonderful retreat time for us, in an already perfect and picturesque little cottage.
We leave with a little bit of Grand Bay View in our hearts and would say, if you're thinking about coming here - go for it!

| We had a lovely stay at Grand Bay View in September. The location is great -- a 5 minute walk to the main drag in Sausalito -- but away from the crowds on a quiet street. The house has been very nicely remodeled and is very comfortable and well appointed. The proximity to San Francisco and beaches/wine country is great, too. Highly recommended! |

| Thanks for a wonderful long-weekend at Grand Bay Cottage. The accomodations were great from the beautiful landscaping out back to the wonderful views from the front of the house. The front porch is especially enjoyable in the early mornings and late afternoons. The cottage is comfortable, clean and very well maintained. Restaurants, shopping and a grocery store are within easy walking distance. We're looking forward to a return visit as soon as possible. |

Our family had a wonderful stay in this perfectly
located home. The view from the front porch is a
panorama of the bay and San Francisco skyline.
The
beautiful small town of Sausalito is just an easy
three block walk down the hill to the coastline. The
accomodations were complete. The house is
excellently maintained. Everything was so clean. We
had a very happy week of the 4th of July. This is an
excellent place to stay if you want the best San
Francisco experience. Lynda and Bob are so kind
and were always eager to make our stay private and
absolutely enjoying. We will keep this memory in
the best vacation rental list. |
