| I just returned from spending 15 nights in this lovely apartment in November 2008. The pictures are absolutely accurate, but do not convey how comfortable it is to stay here. The location is ideal. Just blocks from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sohia, Topkapi Palace, the Archaeological Museum, The Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum etc.. the tramway, and surrounded by restaurants and little shops. Every day on my way home from sightseeing I would stop in the park between the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia and sit by the fountain and enjoy the views. Much of the time I was there by myself and I felt perfectly safe as a woman travelling alone. They have a very helpful local person who is available to help (like when I locked myself out). I am hoping to be able to go back soon. |
